2003 Closet Classic
Solid alder body, sunburst with thin nitro finish, aged hardware. Custom Shop '65 pickups, vintage 6 screw bridge and vintage tuners, chunky C shape neck, rosewood board with pearl dots. The dumb asses at the Custom Shop put on a '60 pick guard instead of the correct '65 pickguard. Thanks a lot after waiting 4 months and paying $2400!

Nice sounding guitar acoustically. Even better sounding plugged in. The pickups are a little hotter than those on the '60 model.

The guitar looks like the real deal other than the wrong pickguard.

Built like a tank. The thin nitro will not hold up as well as the poly finish on the standard USA Strats but it will just look like a Relic quicker.

Didn't contact them but them never replied on the Fender Forum to the pickguard questions. Just ignore the problem and it will go away I supose.

Overall a nice guitar. Way overpriced for a bolt on neck guitar. These things cost over $2K and are worth about $1K.
