Features : 9
This guitar comes with the basic tele features, a lipstick pickup in the neck position, and a single coil in the bridge. The three way selector and the knurled volume and tone knobs as always. I'm not sure what kind of wood it is, but it's really light, and resonates really nice, so I'm going to guess it's alder. The finish is the nice Antigua colors, which remind me of an avocado. Sort of like two tone sunburst, it's an olive green on the borders of the guitar, and yellow green on the inside. The pickguard matches the body. It's a string through body, with the three saddle tele bridge. The neck is maple as is the fret board, and the headstock has the '70s style decal. The tuners are are very stable, and I nearly never am out of tune. I have to retune maybe, once every one or two weeks. Not a lot of fancy features, but that's what I wanted in a tele.

Sound : 10
I play a lot of different styles, and this guitar meets all my needs. I range from a Pixies style of indie rock, to Surfaris style surf, to Moldy Peaches style folk, and even harder Nirvana-ish stuff. I've used this guitar on tube amps such as the Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, and on solid states like the Line 6 spier 210 and a sixty-five watt crate. It definatly sounded a million times better on the tube amp, but this guitar sounded great through the other two as well. It can be a bit noisey when you use a lot of gain, especially while on the bridge pickup and the tone all the way trebly. This guitar truely reaches near every tone you could ever need. Switching pickups or turning the tone knob will solve almost any problem you may have with the sound on a particular song. Although, I would never attempt to play metal with this guitar, it would be way to noisy, and metal players really need guitars the cover up mistakes, like Les Pauls. I really like how bright this guitar is tonally, I give credit to the maple fret board for this. On the bridge pick up, I would compare this guitar to the Rickenbacker 360, and on the neck I would compare it to the Grestch Tennessee Rose. I rarely use the both simultaneously, because by turning the tone knob, I can get all the tones I'd be able to get in mid, with the other two. I only really dislike the bridge pickup with the tone on trebly.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
The action was perfect for me the second I played it. It might have been set up by guitar center, as it was a floor model, but I'm not sure. I haven't touched anything on the guitar, in the sense of modding it, except for the input. It came loose, so I tightened it back up. Other then that, everything was perfect.

Reliability/Durability : 10
This guitar is built to be a player. It's tough and solid, like a tele should be. The finish is really good, I have had this guitar about six months, and I have two dents in it. Both dents are relatively deep, but neither show wood. I don't think I'd ever need a back up guitar, but I do use other guitars during gigs. Only because I often use alternative tunings and hate tuning on stage though.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I haven't had to deal with this, doubt I ever will.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing about three years. I also own a Fender strat, and a Squire strat. The three amps I've already mentioned I've used with this baby too. I love near everything about it. I dislike that the truss rod adjustment is at the butt of the neck, but it will be along time untill I need to adjust it. I compared this to many guitars, and I only liked a few nearly as much. All the ones I liked were way out of my price range, and this one was still the best fit for me. I do wish it had an American Vintage series reissue jaguar pickup in the bridge, but I like this one a lot too. If you like teles, and you need a very versatile guitar for relatively cheap, I suggest buying this, or another Japanese tele of like quality.
