I tried out several 12 strings before buying this one that I found at a pawn shop, including a beautiful Martin. This el cheepo sounds as good as any I tried, and better than most. It is really loud with lots of sustain when played hard, but sounds very mellow when fingerpicked or lightly flatpicked. If I had another thousand bucks, I would have gone for the Martin, but this sounds nearly as good for a lot less money. It has a much better bass response than others I tried, and the mids and trebles are very bright and ringing, what you would expect out of a 12 string.
Action, Fit, & Finish

Used guitar, but the action was perfect. No buzzes, and the finish is like new. Whoever had the guitar before me either took really good care of it or didn't play it much.
Reliability/Durability

Looks like it will take a beating. Built up to 12 string standards. Again, the finish is in like new condition

No Opinion
Used guitar, so I don't expect Fender to be responsible for anything.

I own two other six string dreadnoughts, and this adds another arrow to the quiver, so to speak. 12 strings are somewhat specialized instruments, and not all songs sound as good on them, but for lots of Beatle type music, which I love, it sounds great. This guitar was a really good buy, and I suppose if it got lost or stolen, I would look for something to replace it. Like I said earlier, I would probably go for a Martin or maybe a Taylor if money were no object, but this guitar will be hard to beat for under $200.
