Best guitar ever in my opinion, I've been playing for 22 years and have a PEavey WolfGang and a 57 Les Standard, this thing owns it by far as far as features go. The plywood all over gives me a really warm thick sound and even, screw mahogony I have particle board sustaining my stuff.

Sound : 10
It sounds better than my Johnny Winter Sig. firebird, but I don't think it quite stacks up to my Eric Johnson Sig. Strat. Well nevermind its awesome Ill pawn those before I sell my First Act

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
The Action on this guitar is amazing I can sweep at 64th note time signatures on this thing. The finish was frickin sweet it was flat black.

Reliability/Durability : 10
This thing is a tank, I smash one every single show, or at least try to. I usually drop it off the balcony at my hotel and play it the next day, it rules dude.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Well I'm sponsored by PRS and Charvel so I'm not allowed to say anything here.

Overall Rating : 10
Over all this is the most awesome guitar ever built, Id gladly trade another LTD Alexi sig for it anyday.

Sound : 1
I HATE the sound i cant wait to get another guitar it sounds like throw up i mean guitars are suppose to sound beautiful not hideous that makes me wanna break that guitar into pieces but since ima beginner i guess im stuck learning the basics on that piece of crap..

Action, Fit, & Finish : 2

Reliability/Durability : 1
My friend was stringing it not that hard but definatley not soft and the string popped off that's why they give you those extra strings because they know how cheap there products are and they know they'll break and pop off and thats scary!

Customer Support : No Opinion
After seeing there product i wouldn't even want to speak to them...

Overall Rating : 1
I admit it did come with a lot of helpful things to get you started but you cant get far with that guitar its just the training wheels..

Plastic knobs, Plywood Top, Back, and Sides, Groovy sunburst finish....This is a Toy...I bought it for my 6 mo old so he could beat up on it instead of my guitar. I tuned and played 6 of these at the local target to find "the right one" $25 guitar

Sound : 5
Not bad for a plywood box. I keep it tuned to open G and strum and play slide on it...sounds pretty good...really bluesy the intonation is bad though....

Action, Fit, & Finish : 4
Ouch! Sharp frets! Bad intonation....ok action....not worth fixing right now....

Reliability/Durability : 8
TOUGHEST little guitar I have ever messed with. My boy (now 18 mos) and his friends HAMMER on this thing plus they pour their sippy cups on it...even crusty and bashed it still plays/sounds ok. I used to try and minimize the abuse it got but now I'm pretty curious to see what will finally kill it...... I took 2 points away cause the finish pretty much flakes off (must be french polihsed heh heh).

Customer Support : No Opinion
Wouldn't know

Overall Rating : 7
Been playing a long time....recently started slide and I really like this guitar for that... This is not really a guitar but more of a cheapie six string ukelele..... Sounds better than my martin backpacker though (although worse intonation)....I've thought about getting another one as a travel guitar....

Cheers!

At 30 inches, this is definately a child's guitar. Gear mechanism tuners, much like the old 50's and 60's sears electrics had. It also has two strap buttons(one located on the under-side of the neck near the body). Standard dreadnought looks and features. Made of real wood(sure it is a cheap laminate, but it is wood) And it came with 2 extra strings!!(high B and E)

Sound : 7
The sound is suprisingly nice for a tiny little thing. Your not going to crank out Django style gypsy on the thing, but it's fun to have it sitting around to just pick up and mess around on. Once again this is a $20 CHILD's guitar, so if you are looking for a Martin or Taylor sound on it, you are insane.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
Right out of the box, the action was alright. The strings needed to be stretched a lot. Mine stays in tune fine considering the tuning mechanism they used. Re-tuning often is not surprising. The intonation is way off on mine. I managed to make a new nut that corrected the problem a lot. You can't be too picky when it comes to the action, fretwork, finish, etc when you only pay $20. After all, it is for a CHILD to basically beat on and make noise on a guitar like mommy or daddy, or whoever else they see with one.

Reliability/Durability : 7
Live playing? Saturday afternoon family fun hour, yes. With a little work you could make this a reliable guitar, but you might as well by a more expensive tiny guitar. It is intended for a CHILD(how many times do I have to say that?) For a novelty song during a gig it would be quite funny, but you are not going to do a three hour show with it.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Yes it comes with a warranty, but I threw the card away. At the price I paid for it, I'm not going to go through the trouble of trying to claim anything with the warranty.

Overall Rating : 8
I have been playing for about 17 years now, I started on something very similar to this. It made me want to learn how to make the instrument sound good. You can learn scales on it(although they may be a little out of tune) but the fretwork doesn't change. I think this guitar is great for a child around 4-7 years old that wants to learn guitar. You could always go with a Baby Taylor for $90, but if the kid decides to go Towshend on the thing(smash the guitar to tiny pieces) you could have saved some money. For anyone that gave this a bad review, you obviously were expecting too much out of this guitar. Compareing it to a Martin?? That's ridiculous. Buy it and have fun with the little thing or to teach a child to play.

19 frets I think but they are small. Other info is kinda unknown cause I never really checked it out. .

I'm have to go against the last posters on this little piece for several reasons. This isn't a Taylor we are talking about here. It is a $30 guitar intended for children or even adults to learn cords and stuff on. I know this because I learned how to play on one of these. The down fall isn't the sound it is the size. What kind of sound can you really expect from a kids guitar. Anyway, When I picked this up I played for my experienced players and they were quit surprised at the sound it produced. It almost has a Mandolin/Mexican sound to it which is why it is so unique. This a plus for me cause I work Industrial beats which always requires a different sound. But sound quality and projection is low with out a pick. The chrods sound good.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
This quitar was/is flawless as far as breaking or anything (unlike one of the last posters.) Original strings are holding, nothing rattles, tunning knobs are fine...stays in tune fairly well. I guess I got a good one. Generic build as far as cheap wood but again it's a $30 dollar guitar made for kids that will more than likely be broke..

Reliability/Durability : 6
Finish isn't good to last. I have dropped it a couple of time and it still holds strong. Knicks really easy. Strap buttons solid and I can depend on it for what I do. Strap is cheap though which is why I have dropped it. Get a new strap. (I now have a full size for live play. This guitar is used for ruff layouts and unique recordings (on some songs) for different sounds.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never had to call them

Overall Rating : 7
I have been playing for a year and I still go back to this little peice when I want to go to a friends house with out packing my big one or just play around for a different ruff sound. I am happy with this purchase cause I never would have learned to play without it. For 30 bucks it is worth the buy. Has it flaws but hey children don't care and neither do learning guitar players. It is hard to hit the barr chrods and stuff so it'll be good to give the basics. I am satisfied.

This guitar is almost just a piece of plywood with 6 stings on it and a ole drilled in it. It is a dreadnought body and has no finsh on it except maybe a later stuff to keep dwn the splinters. I got it with a pitchpipe tuner, tie-strap, a book (which is no good except to tell the pats of a guitar), and a couple picks with a gig bag.

Sound : 1
It buzzes like crazy and it wouldnt fit the music style of anyone except a 3 yr old MAYBE!

Action, Fit, & Finish : 2
It sucks. You cant tune it for more than 5 mins and it is so small, you can play half of the chords that you need too. The body starts at the 13th fret. The neck is like it was cut of the tree, sanded, and then painted. The dot inlays are like paper dots glued on. It has no pickups and was put together with alot of glue. I give it a 2 because it has a decent pick guard.

Reliability/Durability : 1
This guitar can handle a little street corner music. I played with a friend one day and he had his Martin and I had my Wal-Mart first act.
People thought that was an intersting match. The tuners are plastic and if you try to tune them to the correct pitch, it slides back and will usually cut the strings down to the nickel core. It has one strap button, but it could fall off at any time. I would never use this for a gig, even if it had a pickup, but if it I had to, I would get a backup, maybe 2 or 3.

Probaly dont even have one.

I have been playing for about 9 months now, but I'm not bad at any means. But this guitar sucks by all means. If this guitar was stolen, I would ask him why he didnt just ask for it and it wouldve have saved him breath cause he wouldnt have to run with me staring and laughing.

Within 3 weeks of purchasing the guitar, on of the plastic peg heads split off. Now that string is impossible to tune without a pliers, and it needs tuning every time it is played. It is said that you get what you pay for. I guess if you expect your child to get three weeks use out of a $20.00 guitar, then the old adage is true.

Can't find it.

It would be a nice little toy for a young guitar player, to learn how to plunk out the notes IF it didn't break right away.

This guitar is a small and is probably intended for kids just learning to play. This guitar lacks features. They say it is made of all wood but I don't know what kind. The tuners are black and plastic.
The inlays on the finger board look like left over paper in the hole puncher that was glued on with elmers.

Sound : 1
The sound is absolutely terrible. The bass and treble strings alike sound bad. I can't even get this thing to play in tune. The sound is dead and the volume couldn't fill an office cubicle. For a while it sounded like I was playing a mandolin.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 1
The action was high as expected. The fingerboard was black and looked like painted lumber. The bridge was black and glossy and was not too bad.Inside of the guitar I could see a big glop of glue and the inside of the guitar reaked of it.The one positve was that the pickguard seemed nice, it was black and seemed to be on strongly.

Reliability/Durability : 1
This guitar looks like somebody assembled it in their basement. This guitar would probably began to fall apart with a young kid on it.

If it were stolen I might thank the crook. This guitar is probably one of if not the worst guitar on the market, but what do you expect for $20 bucks? I would not recommend this guitar for any player especially a beginner. You might not want to play guitar after playing this.
