Very simple, lightweight poplar body, single bridge position humbucker, volume and tone knobs, rosewood on an unfinished maple neck,3x3 headstock, nameless tuners that work well enough. Body style is similar to a Les Paul Jr double cutaway, black body, white plastic/picguard/knobs and chrome plated hardware. The neck feels fast, but a little heavy(heavier then my SG)so it likes to fall neck first when you let go.

My sound style is pretty much everywhere, and this guitar seems to fit in for pretty much any rock style dispite its single pickup. I mainly use either a Fender Princeton 112+ or a Crate V50 all tube combo, but break out my small 20 watt practice amp once in a while,it sounds good with all 3,but with the V50,it sounds very much alive, but i imagine most tube amps will do that with a guitar. Its pretty noisy, could use some sheilding, but that doesnt matter while your playing. Its a pretty bright guitar, and the tone knob has pretty much 2 or 3 actual settings, but mellow the tone knob a bit and she warms up like an old chevy, not wonderful, but good enough to get you where your going.
Action, Fit, & Finish

After i replaced a saddle, restrung and set it up,its great, action is a tad bit high for my taste, but any lower is rattlefest, but its not high enough to hate, its lower then most stock guitar setups. I had to tighten some screws on the tuners and bridge,The frets are a little sharp edged, and the paint has been chipped in a few places, but it was a pawn shop special, after some work though, very nice.

So far so good,no scratchy pots, hardware looks as good as most non usa Fender or Gibson/Epiphone. The saddle i harvested to replace the first acts missing one was from a Peavy Reactor, which matched perfectly,so its not the worst. Dont know if you could drop it,but it seems it will hold up,of course i take care of my stuff, unlike the previous owner.

Bought it at a pawn shop for 10 bucks,it looked like it had been buried in dry dirt, dug up,beaten up,and left to die at a pawn shop. It was missing most of its strings,a saddle, and the jack looked missing,so i gave her a good home with the idea of modding her as a project guitar. I cleaned it up,put some medium strings on it after replacing the saddle, found the jack installed inside the cavity(why?)and now it plays like its greatful to me.Been playing for about 18 years, currently own 12 guitars, this one sits in my main 6 line up. I do hate the heavy neck, and i do with it had at least one more pickup, but thats why i bought it,to mod,and for 10 bucks, who can complain? If your a beginner, its great for the price(new first act guitars are very cheap) and if your a bit of a tinkerer, its a dream, the large pickguard has routing only 2 knobs under it,and room for many ideas.
