The sound of this guitar is very nice. I really don't play classical, more of a fingerstyle new-age type of music, on this. Tone is wonderful, maybe a little light on the treble side. Different tones easily achieved by playing by the bridge, or neck.

Action, Fit, & Finish : No Opinion
used guitar.

non-trusrod neck has slight radius, no big deal.

slightly twisted headstock, which has twisted the neck a tad in first position. slotted headstock has a crack, which may have made it weak and caused the twist. doesn't affect playing.

top, sides and back all have cracks.

no rating since this is used

Reliability/Durability : 8
despite the above mentioned neck twist and body cracks, this is a rather solid instrument. when the weather is nice, i will play it in parks and street corners.

just a good affordable classical

original framus is long, long gone

I've been playing guitar for over 30 years, mainly electric. I got this for something to play without plugging in.

It has really nice tone and is super easy to play.

If it were lost or stolen, I wouldn't replace it. Heck, I doubt I could find another.

I love the tone and playability. Hate the neck twist. Twist really doesn't affect anything, it's just that I know it is there. Favorite feature is the lack of effort needed to make original music on this. I become inspired to make "beautiful" music. This is from someone who plays LOUD blues/rock on electric.

I had an Art & Lutherie Nylon string guitar. That one had a parlor size body. This is more comfortable to play, with it's full size body. The tone is similar, but more pronounced in the bass range.

A great little "couch guitar."
