Bought it 6 years ago. Dont know age and only told it was a Harvest King. Has label inside with serial number and Made in Bavaria.
Acoustic body with cut out near neck. Back is arched by neck. Top looks like 2 piece spruce but could be plywood. Heavy guitar. Beautiful inlay on fretboard with maple inlayed in neck ghead. Bridge is bone on steel with stell inside to hold it. Neck is 2 piece fitted and very thin and narrow for most acoustics. Tuning pins are exposed rack and pinion type.22 frets, low profile.

Sound : 7
I have always fought to get the sound I wished out of it. The heavy body and hardware on top including thick pick guard tends to muffle the sound it is capable of. Taking pick guard off and putting new bone bridge on with medium weight steel strings really brightens this up big time. Using a pick and strumming was never a problem, but finger style picking such as Celtic and bluegrass requires more harmonics to resonante which this guitar failed at without the previous modifications. Also, I installed a gooseneck style pickup. Now this guitar not only feels like a gallagher but can provide that sound I desire.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Action is incredible with this model. I also own a Mosrite electric which this Framus is second only to as far as action. There is some string buzz but with a new bridge made of bone and properly adjusted, this is eleminated. Since I play alot of DADGAD plus standard tuning, I am afflicted with buzz since I constantly switch between the two. If I played DADGAD only, then I would adjust bridge for the looser strings.

Reliability/Durability : 10
Still ingreat shape. Pretty close to new looking. Only wear on it has been by me. Previous owner apparently never played it.

Customer Support : 5
Local music store has been able to create bone bridge and install pickup with no problem. DOnt know if Framus is even in business anymore.

Overall Rating : 10
Playing over 21 years on guitar. Play drums, keyboards and radio too.
