This guitar sounds extremely rich colourful, deep, even for "spoiled" listeners ! I think the reason for this is the pickups in combination with the fine woods and the built quality.
I use a Fender Hot Rod and a Mesa Boogie Combo without effects only a volume pedal. My style is jazz.
I bought this guitar because i could not afford a gibson es at that time. I spent 7 hours an the shop and this guitar had the best value for the money. Now i could afford a gibson but i don't want it anymore. Main reason: the Tennessee Custom is more versatile. With the neck Humbucker you get a dark and sparkling jazz tone comparable to kurt rosenwinkel (on my fender hot rod) With both Humbuckers you get a rockabilly gretsch sound. I don't use the bridge position. I think it's only useful for a solo with distortion but i don't know. It's quiet at all positions.
I don't think there's a guitar with a similar price that sound so great. (Have not tested the yamaha sa 2200 :-)

I've been playing for 10 years. I own/owned a 60ies Hoyer Archtop Jazz Guitar, Patrick Eggle Berlin Pro, Gibson Les Paul, Fender Hot Rod, Mesa Boogie Heartbreaker, PCL Top with Fender Box.
At the moment i don't want another guitar. I'm not very happy with the looks of this guitar but the sound excuses everything.

2005 German made instrument. Hollowbody with maple top and mahogany sides. 1 volume & 1 tone control for 2 passive humbucker pickups without coil taps. Pickups are Seymore Duncan. The neck PU is the 59 model and the bridge PU is the Jeff Beck Model. I have a burgandy model with high gloss finish. Bigsby tremelo with roller bridge. Neck is Ovenkol with an ebony fret board and is very comfortable in my hands. 22 jumbo frets. Locking tuners and strap lock. Guitar came with gig bag. Hardshell case is on order.

My musical style is fundementally rock that is heavily influenced by contemporaries like U2 and Counting Crows and classics like Zepplin, Jeff Beck, and The Who. Recently i have been attempting to bolster my theory with some jazz.
My Effects: Time machine Boost, Area 51 Wah, Voodoo Lab Sparkle Drive, Boss DS-1, EH Small Stone, and EH Deluxe Memory Man.
My Amps: Either Ampeg Reverberocket Reissue (40 Watt 6L6 pair) or Framus Ruby Riot 2 (30 Watt EL84 Quad)
I have had the guitar 2 months. The guitar is top quality on all settings. I have never heard another guitar with such a full sound. The combination of the mahogany body, maple top, and ebony fret board give this guitar an extremely rich but articulate sound. It is not harsh in any sense of the word. The note for note defintion is astounding. The pickup combination could not be better for me. The guitar can easliy go from classic rock to jazz. It has turned heads consistently regardless of musical genre, and the response is always "That things sounds amazing!"

The guitar was set up perfectly when I recieved it. Very fast action and comfortable neck. It instantly felt like home the second I picked it up. The pickups were adjusted well. Not one flaw in the finish. Intonation was set well. Bigsby stays in tune extremely well. Beautiful flamed maple top shines through the translucent burgandy stain.

This guitar was designed to last a lifetime. I gig 2 -3 times weekly, and the guitar is constantly on the road with me. Everything is top nothch. Even after 2 months of consistant gigs there is not one sign of wear. Rock solid.

You could not ask for better customer support from Craig at Framus. He is a pleasure to talk to and works hard to provide the instrument of his customer's dreams. He has worked hard to make sure that I have no complaints about Framus. I would do business with them again if for no other reason than his customer support.

Not one bad thing to say about the guitar or buying experiance. This guitar has exceeded my expectations. A few of the local guitar heros have played this guitar and were astounded by its sound and playability. I am in the process of obtaining an insurance policy for it because I could not deal with it if it were to be lost or stolen. A buyer could not be more pleased with the quality and service offered by Framus. I would not hesitate to do business with them again.
