Believe its 2007,black model. 22.5 frets w/ one volume and one tone pot. no vari coil option (green series has this). i dont really need this because I also play a tele with a single coil bridge. 2 WIlkinson PAF humbuckers. Looks vintage and pretty bad *** I must say, cooler than explorers but similar. The other guy who reviewed this compained about the tuners, but mine has vintage style Gotoh's and they are just fine. The rosewood on my fingerboard is also a dark rosewood, perhaps they addressed the concerns expressed with the first batch and improved this run? I love how the pickup switch is on the forward pickguard and in strum's reach!! All in all, this guitar is exactly what I want from a hard tail dual humbucker. Not too many features, but that is why I love it! pure gold.

Sound : 10
I play blues, classic and modern rock, this does the trick and them some. I am selling my 99 Gibson SG (which I love by the way) because this sounds way better. The Kona wood gives it that sweet and rich mahogany tone, and the wilkinson PAF's are super colourful. the bridge for rhythm is super tight, punchy and clear sounding. the neck pickup has stronger low-mids and more clarity then the gibson burstbuckers on my SG just to compare. This thing sustains better than most les pauls and sounds just as meaty. THere isn't anything I don't like about this guitar honestly. The only thing I am changing is bypassing the tone pot because that always seems to give any guitar more tone.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
The action was way too low!! probably was adjusted by some metalhead at the shop who was trying to play at 99 miles per hour, lol. I raised her up a bit, lost the rattle and she plays like a dream. Pickups sound the way I like it, not too much gain or too little, right in the pocket. I didn't notice anything wrong with it, except the bridge pickup casing has a slight crack on it, probably because some jerk tried to tighten it too much. doesn't really affect anything though.

Reliability/Durability : 10
This thing is a monster, built to last. only time will tell. just bought it though and so far so good.

Customer Support : No Opinion

Overall Rating : 10
I have been playing for 12 years, and this is the nicest humbucker I have owned yet. My jaw dropped when I first played one. Started off with a 90's les paul, traded for a 99 SG and this one blows the doors off of them. I only payed 600 new for it on ebay (list for 1300 US) because the guys in New Brunswick had to liquidate it because I suppose no one there really knows about this company and they couldn't sell it! If it were stolen or lost I would be absolutely heartbroken and would walk to the end of the earth to get it back. I love how Trevor Wilkinson has researched how to maximize the sustain and built it based on vintage specs and player recommendations.
