2009 Super 60 with three Fret-King single-coil pickups and 5-way selector. Gotoh locking tuners and Wilkinson VS401V vibrato. Good gig bag. Nice rosewood fretboard, very smooth maple neck. This one is in Original Vintage Burst on an alder body and looks great. Accompanied by a substantial collection of Allen keys and an all-metal vibrato arm.

Extremely versatile and noise-free, which is good for single coil pickups. All 'classic' Strat sounds available.
Action, Fit, & Finish

I haven't had to adjust the intonation, vibrato or string height - for an instrument that's above 'budget' but way below 'custom' in price, that's quite an achievement. No nut or fret wire problems. Exemplary finish - beautiful.

This is the REALLY good bit. I had a problem with a previous model, and received an email from their managing director within a couple of hours, inviting me to have it fixed or replaced. I opted for a replacement, which arrived promptly. Many reviews are non-committal (at best!) about after-sales, but JHS / Fret-King cannot be faulted. They communicated with me throughout the process and I have absolutely no qualms in recommending them or their products. It is very refreshing to see a manufacturer stand behind their products so well. Thank you!

I've been playing for nearly 40 years and would have no hesitation in replacing this like-for-like if I lost it. The vibrato returns to zero every time, i.e. it stays in tune, which is always a bonus :-) Given that this guitar costs less than half of some "equivalent" Strats, it is definitely worth a look.
