This is basically a hot rodded strat. The Indonesian Cort factory has basically matched US craftsmanship. And the US p/ups, Fulcrum bridge, etc make this very, very close to the AMerican cousins that cost twice as much

Sounds fantastic. I have an American S-500. And this sounds just as good.

Craftsmanship is flawless out of the box. I dialed in the action myself with the allen wrench provided. But, that reflected a slight personal preference.

Guitar feels like a tank. It's heavier than my Fender American Standard. Lots of wood and lots of tone. This things feels like it'll roll over everything in its path.

Bought the guitar from Buffalo Bros in Carlsbad, CA. There were nice, friendly and gave me a great price ($750 out the door). I don't think I'll be needing any customer support. This guitar is good to go!!!

For less than $800, you get a guitar that blows the Fender American Standard out of the ring. I'm not sure if the American customs are any better either. G&L has become the new #1 Strat/Tele manufacturer IMO. Unless you just have to have the Fender look and vibe (if you're making a Buddy Holly or Jimi Hendrix movie for instance), you're better off buying a G&L. Their American series are killer, this Tribute Comanche (Cort Indonesia) is killer, even their $300 Tribute are solid players. G&L is the Leo Fender legacy incarnate.
