The holy grail of guitar tones. Everything from Pass to Scofield, BB to SRV, Townsend to Cobain, Dimebag, Chet, you name it. Amazing versatility. I have a unique and strange playing style. E-A-D-G-B-B tuning. Clean to Grind, ebow to clear-the-room racket. I'm an indie-rocker and I love power chords and punishing my 6V6's. My chain is as follows: Guitar-Maxon compressor-Little Alligator volume-Radial Loopbone-(loop 1) Fulltone Fulldrive 2-(loop 2) TC Elec. Stereo Chorus/Flange-Eventide Time Factor-Fender Deluxe Reverb RI. Everything is dead quiet even on high gain. I can't even tell the amp is on. (combination of great pickups, loopbone, George L's, and JJ's. The only thing I dislike is that I didn't discover G & L 15 years ago. Proof that great gear really can open up so many possibilies of expression.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Bought this used off ebay in showroom museum quality mint. I couldn't believe it when I saw it for the first time. Rediculous quality of craftmenship. Perfection. It was such a bargain I felt guilty. Easily worth twice what I paid. It plays itself and radiates mojo. Sorry Fender, your stuff doesn't even come close. This guitar is the bad-ass of all Tele-style guitars. Leo Fender big F-U to CBS and Music Man. George Fullerton too. They obviously were not in it for the money.

Reliability/Durability : 10
The old adage "you get what you paid for" doesn't apply here. You get easily 3 times that. This guitar would be insulted if you brought along a backup.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Won't ever need them, that is until I order a Legacy HB.

Overall Rating : 10
If you like Tele's, and like to rock, this is it.

Pretty nice, but with the coil splitter (This is NOT a coil tap, guys!) activated and both pickups on, there is no hum cancelling, because they, for some reason, didn't reverse one of the pickups.

Sound : 8
Blues and Afro-Cuban-Brazilian jazz, style.

My PRS McCarty cowers in the corner with it's tail between it's legs, when I light this thing up. Almost all PRS guitars are pretty snazzy looking, but soundwise, they can't hold a candle to good examples of Fender, Gibson, Heritage, or G&L guitars.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
Acceptable, pretty much O. K.

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
I don't know.

Customer Support : 1
The reason that I'm giving them a VERY black eye in this category, is the disgraceful way that they (G&L) went about aquiring the blade pickups from the great genius pickup inventor, Joe Barden.

Overall Rating : 9
Playing off and on for 34 years

Semi-hollow W/O the f-hole

Impulse purchase, it was just so damn cute

If it were stolen would I replace it? I don't know.

Features : 10
Solid Mahogany body, dark figured maple top, honey finish.
Standard Tele style body, though I had a rear contour lathed into it.
3 way selector switch, dual humbucker pickups (59n/TB4), coil tap switch for single-coil.
Ebony fingerboard, birds eye maple neck, graphite nut, natural wood top binding.
Non-locking tuners, extra wide neck for my big mitts.
Also has G&L's saddle-lock bridge and a painted headstock.
The customizable nature of this makes me very happy. I specified many of these things which are non-standard and it was custom built for me within about a month. The figuring is PHENOMENAL in the maple, they accomodated my request for a dark maple, the rear contour and ebony fingerboard were non-standard....just the way they took all my requests and didn't blink at any of them made me extremely happy with the ability to customize the feature set.
Came with a beautiful hard Tolex case, mini-kit for tuneups.

Sound : 10
I play mostly classic rock and blues. Once in a rare while I'll throw in some industrial.
This guitar plays everything I've thrown at it, and sounds amazing while doing it. Bridge pickup in single coil with tone all the way up and I'm thrashing out some Pistols. Neck position, tone rolled off, out comes Clapton.
I've now played this on a huge range of amps: Mesa, Fender, even modeling amps by Line 6 and I have yet to FORCE this thing to sound bad. I can not make the neck muddy no matter how badly I try. The bridge always has a hint of warmth in it. I am absolutely BLOWN away by the range this thing can give me.
Even with the split coils there is very little hum, though it does drop volume a bit.
My favourite tone out of it is humbucking, both pickups active, tone rolled off minutely. This gives me a rich, full, but still bright sound that is warm and yet sharp. I can't describe the complexity of the tone, aside from saying beautiful. I attribute this to a few things: 1) The solid body mahogany gives it warmth, 2) The ebony fingerboard/maple neck/maple top keep it bright and alive, 3) The humbucker pickups (SDs) are fantastic. FANTASTIC.
The last thing is the sustain which is, in a word, forever. I can hang on to a note, have a cigarette, feed the dog, and it'll still be playing. This is, I imagine, due to the saddle-lock bridge that embeds right down into the middle of the mahogany and transfers vibration very cleanly. That's a guess.
I play mostly clean, no pedals except occasionaly a wah if I'm feeling wild and crazy, but throw this through a Champ and get it right to the breakup point and this will sing.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Setup is almost perfect out of the gate from the factory.
Action is a touch low, just for my taste, and I got a bit of buzz on low E, but considering they probably presumed a shredder, I'm thrilled. Making one adjustment to suit my preference is hardly going to kill me.
I've had it for three months now and I've only had to put it back in tune twice, after doing some serious bends. That's it. No problems, no errors, no tweaks, nothing.
Pickups and height are perfect out of the box.
The top is bookmatched perfectly. The figuring in the maple and the finish are the most beautiful I've ever seen on any guitar. I'm not saying that because I own it, either, really. (really). It is subtle, looks like it's 10 feet deep, different effects dependent on the angle of view, satiny, woody grain, tiger striping, but all subtle and refined in a dark honey finish. Even the mahogany on the back looks gorgeous.
There were ZERO flaws in the hardware, and I'm quite picky. From nut to bridge everything is absolutely perfect. Nothing misaligned, nothing loose, nothing unbuffed, every scrap of metal polished and perfect.
In terms of finish there is not even a single *dimple* on the lacquer.
Again...the most perfectly finished guitar I've ever picked up.

Reliability/Durability : 10
The beautiful finish on this guitar and the lack of a pickguard mean that it is entirely possible it may get dinged, scratched, and scraped up if played live. That being said...it's a heavy solidbody mahogany guitar. I pity the bastard that takes this in the groin as I swing it around. It will take a beating, I'm quite sure.
The strap buttons are rock solid, the body is rock solid, the components are all inlaid through the back into the body and almost impossible to destroy. The only thing that will wear out on this guitar is the finish, and that seems very durable to me after a few months of playing. Even the fingerboard, made of ebony, will last forever.
Can I depend on it? Would I gig without a backup? You bet. The bridge/nut/action is so smooth on this I haven't even been able to break a string yet, and everything else is so robust I'm not worried about it.
This huge, heavy, solid, beautiful beast will last longer than me.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I haven't needed to deal with G&L support yet, but the reseller I bought through has been fantastic.

Overall Rating : 10
Playing for 15 years, owned 2 Teles before this.
If this guitar were lost or stolen I would need to cry for a good long time before I could introduce a new one into my life. They are not cheap, so I strongly recommend insurance against such a catastrophe.
The way this guitar sounds is beyond comparison. But the looks are another thing. I don't care about the visual aesthetics. Give me a plank of wood with some pickups glued on if it sounds good. But this guitar is really just a work of art.
I bought this instead of a PRS or a Fender because I wanted to try a new sound and the reviews of the tone and attention to detail in build quality made me interested. Now that I have it I can't wait to get back to playing it every day. This truly is right there with the *best* of the PRS and Les Pauls.

1999 US G&L ASAT Deluxe with a Factory Bigsby. Semi-Hollow body with "F" hole. Beautiful Flamed Maple top with an Orange Tiger Stripe type finish. Mahogany body. Nicely bound with creme color binding. Tele Shape. Two Seymour Duncan Pickups with coil tap. Non locking G&L tuners. One volume and one tone control with a three way switch and mini-toggle for coil tap. Birds Eye maple neck with ebony fretboard. Came in a G&L hard shell case.

Sound : 10
This guitar can go from heavy rock to country with a little adjustment. All the electronics are dead quiet. The Seymour Duncan pups are hot and when coil tapped produce a bright crystline sound. It suits my needs perfectly. The guitar sounds full and bright. I have not found anything to dislike about this guitar.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Absolutely perfect fit and finish. The finish is flawless, all controls are tight and noisless. The guitar just oozes quality. No expense was spared in the construction an materials used on this guitar.

Reliability/Durability : 10
This guitar would hold up without any problems. I have three other US G&L's besides this one and they are all good performers. The only changes I've done to any of them is add strap locks.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never needed them.

Overall Rating : 10
I would give this one a 10 out of 10. This guitar is really stunning. I sold a Les Paul Studio and Fender American Strat to come up with the cash to buy this. I'm not disappointed. I have been playing for over 45 years and have owned a lot of guitars over the years. In addition to this G&L I also own a G&L ASAT III, G&L ASAT Special and a G&L Legacy Special. I'm hooked.

Tele shape, semi-hollow body 2 Seymour Duncan humbuckers, single volume and single tone, 3 way selector and coil splitter. Maple neck. Beautiful bound sunburst like finish. HS case

Sound : 8
Excellent humbucker sounds in a light, hollow tele body. Coil split is not dramatic, so it doesn't reach all the way to strat-type sound. So call it, on a sound spectrum from a 68 Les Paul Custom to a good American Standard Strat, about 25% of the way from the LP to the Strat.
Great blues tones. Use with VHT amplifiers.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
BEAUTIFUL guitar. Fit and finish marvelous. Once professionally set up, plays like a dream.

So pretty and light that I handle it accordingly. So my response to durability question is more emotional than practical. Haven't had it long enough for a practical response.

1996, Made in the USA, Georgeous looking transparent dark red flame maple top, mahogany body, Seymour Duncan humbuckers, 3 way switch w/ phase switching, Tele style body, non-locking Sperzel tuners, G&l hardcase.

Sound : 9
I play a little of just about any kind of music, Jazz, Rock, Blues. I play through a Mesa Boogie Rectoverb 50 (which deserves a great review itself) Not noisy at all, unlike my Fender '62 RI USA Strat (another great review waiting to happen). The humbuckers provide a very nice full sound, similar to a Les Paul, but not quite as compressed, thank God. If I was given the choice between my friends 2001 Flame top Les Paul, and my G&L ASAT Deluxe, I would take the Les Paul, sell it, buy the G&L and pocket the extra money. The Phase switch let's you get those Fender Strat/Tele sounds, although thier not quite the same as a real Strat/Tele. This is a very versatile guitar, that sounds great! If your going to own one guitar, and you can't decide between a Les Paul type sound, and the Strat type sound, buy one of these, it's kinda like having them both.

Action, Fit, & Finish : No Opinion
I bought it used on Ebay, and had to do a little tweaking with the setup, but once that was done, it plays great. The overall quality of the guitar is very good, better than any typical USA Fender I've owned, accept for a Custom Shop '54 RI Strat that I had, but sold, and my '62 RI Strat, which is equally nice. everthing is quite satisfactory.

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
I haven't owned it very long, so I can't really comment on the reliability....we'll see. It does seem to be rock solid, so I'm not expecting any problems.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Haven't had to contact anyone, so I can't say.

Overall Rating : 9
I'd like to give it a 10, but that has to be reserved for the Ultimate guitar, which I hope to never find, because the search is just to much fun. Seriously, If your strictly a blues player you might want to stick with a Strat, If your just into metal, go with a Les Paul or some other '80 type Ibanez, Jackson....etc. If you want a guitar that will go from one to the other very respectably, try the ASAT Deluxe.

2001 ASAT Deluxe, flame tobacco burst finish (top), Birdseye maple neck/fret board, natural binding, 4 bolt neck, 2 SD pups, coil tap. 3 way switch selector switch, one volume one tone control. Fixed bridge. Tele shape. Very nice, simple setup.

Sound : 10
The sound possibilities from the guitar are endless. With 2 humbuckers, coil tap and 3 way switch the veriety of your tonal palette is huge, and if you have a good amp(s) even better. It's not in my opinion the one for all axe, but it is all the stuff I like to play and hear. It IS clean, through a good Fender amp using single coils, and it CAN sound like the best Les Pauls through a Marshall depending on your style. There is much more in between.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
This guitar was set up nearly perfect, only my personal preferences needed to be applied. I adjusted the truss rod to straighten the neck a little and lowered the saddles to adjust the action slightly. The finish was perfect. Neck pocket is nice n' tight. G&L does a great job building these. Neck feels perfect to me, nice fret work. Smooth.

Reliability/Durability : 10
Have played this G&L for over a year with no problems. Definitely a reliable axe. Stays in tune! Have had no hardware problems. This is a heavy guitar (like LP) as it is a mahogany body, and has a durable finish. I would depend on it, but a back up is always nice. (another ASAT deluxe)

Customer Support : 10
G&L is a small company in Fullerton, CA. (Remember the Fender Guys?)with limited staff, but if you know the right folks, they are great to deal with.

Overall Rating : 10
G&L is one little gem of a guitar. I have played many (35) years and lots of guitars and these just seem to stand out in my mind as value for the money. Tone, quality, versatility and TONE!

Same set up as every other one you read here. Flame maple top, beautiful birds eye neck, tobacco sunburst center to cherry sunburst by the time you reach the ivory/cream binding. SD '59 and JB humbuckers. Came w/HSC and in new condition. Bought it used at from a local non G&L guitar store who thought it was an ASAT that someone had redone to humbuckers and added the tap switch. When I first looked at it I didnt say anything about what I knew about these guitars. I had only heard of this model and had never seen one exept on the G&L website. The store knows I also own a G&L ASAT special so thought this may appeal to me and they had just taken it on trade (for a song I'M sure). My son is the real player and he was with me at the time so I had him take it in the sound room and put it thru the paces.

Sound : 10
I listened to him make this thing sing and so it does. Ozzy, Sabeth, Stones, Metalica, Pink Floyd, Creedence, Creed, Ramstien it didn't seem to matter. The more he pushed it the more impressed I became. His impression "this thing rocks, too bad its so heavy". So I gave it back to the sales person and told him that it sound great but its too bad about the conversion (knowing full well what it was). It is Saturday at 5pm and they are closing. I will return. I did on monday AM and gave them $600cdn (370us) for this gem. I have hardly set it dowm since. Its actually for my other son for Xmas, but I play it every minute I can when he is not around. Use Musicman 210-65 numerous effects. This is the nicest unit I have ever played.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Supurb... the previous owner has the same taste in action. Gentle touch is ample. Frets are like silk, condition is like new and quality is G&L. There is not one flaw in this thing.

Reliability/Durability : 10
Gig with no back up?? If you are brave enough to take this gem into publi I doubt it would ever let you down. I have never had a G&L need work.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Owned G&L for lots of years and never called "em.

Been playing for 5 yrs. My boys are the real players but I still love to play and if I were ever to pick one to own this one is it. No doubt. Currently in the house or at one time or another, Now JJ1 Jackson Scott Ian Signature W?flame top. G&L Butterscotch ASAT Special w/black hardware, Fender Strat, Takanime Electric And accoustics. Used to own Fender Tele and Ibenez. This G&L deluxe is the one I would say is far above the others and much nicer than lots of guitars far more expensive

Features : 10
G&L ASAT Deluxe, incredible guitar.."handmade in Fullerton California" like all G&Ls are...emerald green see thru finish, over a flamed maple top, cream binding...birdseye maple neck, rosewood fretboard. Seymour Duncan humbuckers, Lil' 59 in the neck, and a TB-4 (Trembucker) in the bridge..plus a toggle switch that allows you to go 'single coil' with both pickups..This is G&L's top of the line Telecaster type guitar, and it is one of the nicest guitars I've ever picked up..I love the G&L bridge that this, and a few of their other guitars, have..it's NOT a string thru body. I play a large variety of music, and can get a large variety of tones, sounds from this guitar...The toggle switch flipped to single coil sounds very Strat-like, and in the humbucker mode, I can roll back tone knob, and sound like a Les Paul, or an ES 335...

Sound : 10
I play classic rock, blues, country, rockabilly, gospel..this guitar is great for all of that. I run it thru an Analogman upgraded SD-1 (love it!!), and a Boss Digital Delay into either a Peavey Classic 30, or Fender HotRod Deville 2x12...This guitar can get such a variety of tones, it's perfect for the player who plays a variey of styles..don't have to keep switching guitars..This is not a shredder guitar, it's too beautiful to bang around..in fact, that's the only drawback...I hate to take it out, because I know the first time it gets knocked over, or scratched, I'm gonna freak out.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
I've never seen another guitar that was so perfectly ready to go straight from the factory...This is a beautiful guitar in every sense of the word..no flaws at all...all the hardware, finishing, etc was perfect.

Reliability/Durability : 10
This is basically a Telecaster, so it is very reliable and tough..as mentioned before, it is too pretty to bang around!..I would depend on it, though, if it was my "#1 player", because I know how well it's put together.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I've never dealt with them..never had to have anything repaired..I've had this for five years..granted I don't take it out and rough it up like my other Tele..but I doubt if I'll ever need to deal with G&L on it's behalf..other than buying one of those neat "girl riding the guitar" tee shirts..

Overall Rating : 10
I own two other Telecasters..and, while this G&L is not my "#1 player", the only reason for that is, it's just too fancy...I bump my Teles around on crowded stages, people slosh booze on your stuff, other band members knock things over..it would almost kill me to see this guitar knocked over, and I've have to open a drum o' whoop ass on anyone who spilled booze on it. It is my alltime favorite guitar, though..and I show it off to anyone who comes to my house! (Buddy Guy, while signing it, said it was one of the prettiest guitars he's seen.) If it were stolen, or lost..after some counseling, I might try the G&L ASAT Deluxe Thinline type guitar..they are not as heavy..but I'd definately go with the ASAT Deluxe..they are incredibly versitile guitars. I also favor a maple neck, rather than rosewood..but hey..I got it free.

I think my guitar is a 99'.It's got JB and 59' HB's,3 position blade switch and coil tap.Sunburst finish on flamed top with thick mahogany body. The patented G&L bridge on this guitar makes it sound huge, like a piano(in a twangin' sort of way).Has jumbo frets.

Sound : 9
I play various styles and find this guitar to be very flexible. It could handle metal to rock to blues to jazz to twang.Very full and articulate sounding. Not a noisy guitar at all.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
Set up was great(really)...workmanship is great and definately comparable(if not better) than any 'boutique' guitars out there. This is my first G&L guitar. The neck is perfect and extremely playable.

I play mostly guitar driven rock/blues/funk 60's/70's a little 80's/90's
along w/my own stuff which is a mish mosh of 70's rock/funk. These days I'm playing through a Fender Deville (2 12's) I also with play through a modified Peavey Musician 1/2 stack which I process up a bit, but mainly for this guitar I keep it simple. Guitar/ amp /chord

I was looking for versitility and distinction. This is the package!
It can twang out Skynyrd on the clean channel w/single coil, and crank up the gain and it's "Can't you hear me knockin time"

W/the processor a little more gain, chorus, delay, reverb tune to Eb and
I can nail "runaround" with this guitar better than most the others!

What I'm saying is this guitar has many personalities.

I do not need to bring a bunch of my guitars to jam anymore, which is why I bought it, it also happens to look great!

It stays in tune, although it took a while to get used winding my strings through the open tuners but no real complaints.

I've heard people claim they get strat to les paul sounds out of these guitars...I disagree. This guitar is not phat like a strat. It does'nt need to be. You can do so much w/this guitar but when you want to play Stevie, put it down and use a strat. It can get closer to what a lester sounds like but there is still a difference. If I could only have one guitar (perish the thought) this might be it!

This is a 1996 G&L Deluxe. It has a flame maple top that is absolutely stunning. It has two buckers with a coil tap and chrome hardware. It came with a hardshell case. It's a very simple design, yet everything is made with great care and quality. This is the best of the asats. Hands down.

Sound : 10
This guitar is so killer. I play this through a Two Rock Emerald Pro, Trainwreck Climax, and a Diezel VH4. It sounds gorgeus through every one of them. The dynamics are unbelievable. Pinch harmonics and harp harmonics ring gorgeusly all over the neck. Clean it has a snappy response to it, and overdriven it's articulate and warm. Roll back the tone knob and you can really nail the jazz feel. Lukather to Carlton to SRV, you can get the sound with this guitar.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
It came straight from the factory with a great setup. I had to tweak the saddle height a bit for my personal tastes, but that's it. The top is absolutely stunning and there is no flaws in the binding like you would usually find in a gibson. It is very quiet, unless you flip the coil tap of course, and it resonates more then my PRS or Gibsons do.

Reliability/Durability : 10
I've played this guitar for years with no problems what so ever. I put strap locks on all my guitars and they don't wiggle out or anything. There still isn't a scratch on this guitar.

I've been playing 32 years and this is one of my favorite guitars. The only guitar that can compare is my one off fender nocaster (which cost three times as much.) I recently bought another one because I loved it so much! My collection consists of vintage fenders, gibsons, prs's, and rickenbackers and G&L is one of the best!

I wish they came in a blue burst, but the cherry burst is still awesome.

Very full warm sounding and it can get real evil wicked sounds on the bridge pickup. The coil tap gets the single coil sounds down. The pups aren't noisy at all, and I find it good for the many styles I play (from blues to metal.) I play this through a Matchless, Bogner, or Rivera amp and it's gorgeus.

Mahogony Body with Flamed maple cap finished in a beautiful honey to chery sunburst, birdseye maple neck, ebony fretboard, shaler tuners, dual jb humbuckers (splitable), 1 vol, 1 tone, class all the way!

Sound : 10
I have run the gambit of solid body electric guitars over the last year or so from les paul to strat, ibanez to tele. and this is the guitar i settled on as my one and only, with the splitable humbuckers i can go from very twangy tele to very FAT les paul type sound, and everything in between, the best of the best in my opinion.

other than a slight amount of nut work, (which i have had to do on every gutar i have ever owned save one) this gutar was set up great, highly polished big fat frets, great for bending to an action that you could almost fret by blowing on, and the paint job, WOW!..Just a great axe!

Reliability/Durability : 10
It had better stand up as like i said, it is the only solid body I own, I always take my archtop as a back up, but really only for a busted string in the middle of a set, built like a rock!

A great company to deal with!

If this guitar was ever stolen or lost I would try and find another that day, and I would know that being a G&L guitar the next one would be just as nice!

This guitar is a 1997 ASAT Deluxe Thinline without an F-Hole featuring a beautiful curly maple top and mahogany back. It's a very light guitar and very comfortable. The controls are much the same as you'd find on your typical tele, but there is also a coil splitting toggle. Seymour Duncan pickups (59/JB)
It's not a very complex guitar, but it's simple and elegant, and it does its job flawlessly. That's why I'll have to give it a 10.

This guitar does anything from surf to hard rock. The humbuckers are incredibly clear, but also extremely warm. By just strumming the guitar, you get fantastic resonance and balance. With the coil splitting, it's possible to get a vast variety of tones. In the split position, it's possible to get strat to almost tele-like tones. In the hum position, you get a nice Les Paul-like tone. It suits me perfectly...

This was a used guitar, so I can't judge the set-up, but what I got was a perfectly playable instrument with very low action and no buzzing. The frets are nicely done and very easy to bend, etc. The neckjoint is airtight. Every detail is well attended to. The finish is incredibly deep and beautiful (Cherry Sunburst). The top is heavily figured and the flame appears to be almost 3-d. Incredible

Reliability/Durability : 10
I haven't played with this live yet, but I have no fears in doing so. Everything i can see is solid and well constructed. My only fear is damaging the beautiful finish.

Haven't dealt with the company. I doubt I will have to either.

I have been playing for about 2 years, and this is my first high-end instrument. I play this through my Fender Deluxe Reverb reissue, and it makes me proud every time I play it. If something happened to it, I could not afford another one (being these easily sell for 1500 new and used ones aren't easy to find) To anyone that is looking for extreme quality at an affordable price, I'd suggest looking into G&L. This is my first G&L guitar, hopefully not the last. A fantastic instrument!

This is a 99 from California. 22 frets, 2 Humbuckers (Duncan JB and 59), mahogony back, bookmatched flame maple top, Birds eye maple neck and board. Tele style body with 1 volume, 1 tone, and a mini-toggle to split the buckers. Fixed string through bridge. It has a beautiful natural finish.

Sound : 10
Played through Boogies, this thing can rock! Very quiet in the bucker setting, a little noisy when split. This guitar sounds really nice in the split position, and sounds like a very mid rangey strat. In the full bucker settings, it is like a very hot Les PAul. It is full sounding without getting muddy.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Perfect off the rack.

Reliability/Durability : 10
I've used it live and haven't had any problems or complaints.

Overall Rating : 10
Played for 23 years, and have tried a lot of guitars. Next to My 93 PRS Custom 24, this is my favorite. Very versatile and dependable.
