The details are on the G&L web site, and also stated in the previous reviews. Mine has rose wood fretboard. It is the hollow body with the F hole.

My interst is classic eletric blues. Muddy Waters, Mike Bloomfield, Magic Sam, Son Seals, Eric Clapton (in the mid 60's). I use a Fender Twin Reverb. I can only compare the G&L to the other guitars that I own. Fender American Delux Strat, Fender Custom 1962 Telecaster. The Strat sounds better through a distortion pedel if that is what you like. The Fender Tele has more twang. The G&L has twang and the Gibson style humbucker sound from the neck pickup. Playing both together sounds much better than the Fender Tele and or the Strat. Playing cords with this guitar puts the Fenders in the back seat.

My guitar had some issues from the factory. The intonation was off and had to be adjusted. Notes that are supposed to sound the same should. Even after adjustment, by a professionl, there is still some fert buzz that shouldn't be there. Otherwise the guitar was very well done. A work of art. The buzz is there on single notes not on cords.

If I had to pick between my three guitars this is the one that I would keep.
