Coils can be split (single) or combined (humbucking).. Nice heavy sheild wire to supress buzz/noise.

Deep lows, fuller sound, and higher ouput. I have found that this pickup likes to be located up close to the strings. It can get a little muddy when pushed real hard. My main amp is a Fender Blues Deville 4x10.

Looks good - nice shinny chrome finish. Fit was good as well.

Installed it 2 weeks ago - Don't know yet about reliability. Seems as durable as any pickup.

I have been playing guitar 23 years. This replaced the stock neck pickup in my Fender Squire "Fat Telecaster". This is my working guitar when I want to keep my 'nice' guitars safe at home. A definite improvement from the made-in-Indonesia stock pickup.. It compliments the twangy bridge pickup nicely and allows for a wide vareity of tones.

Alnico magnets, cream/black zebra coil bobbins, wax potting(extremely well done...totally noise free)
Killer tone and sound dynamics.
4 wire pickup for optional coil tapping ability. I did not do this so no comment on coil tapped sound.

From clean sounds to heavy distorted stuff, incredible sustain and harmonics... this pickup has it all. I just changed out a gibson humbucker that was in the bridge of my 1982 Ibanez artist for this pickup, and it has more pick attack, and is much more articulate across the entire sound spectrum!(dead quiet as well)

Friendly and helpful in the customer relations category. I asked a question in an email regarding a sound clip for strat p/ups, and they emailed me back the next day.

Been playing for 8 years, and have had the gibson h/bucker in the neck of the ibanez artist for at least 6 yrs. BLOWN away by the improvement. The gibson was just no good for clean sounds without serious amp adjustment. I'd just change over to my 72 tele custon reissue for clean and use the ibanez for dist. Now I have a whole new lease on the ibanez. Whoo hoo!
