2007 Gadow Nashville. Mine is tranparent butterscotch with a black pickguard and maple fretboard - very Keef! Solid swamp ash body, Lindy Fralin hand wound, single coil pickups, Maple neck with two way adjustable truss rod; 25 1/2 inch scale ; 1 11/16 inch genuine bone nut and jumbo frets; 12 inch radius, ebony veneer applied to front and rosewood to the back of headstock to improve strength of headstock, Gotoh tuners, Wilkinson bridge with string-thru body design, pearloid fret markers, TKL hardshell case. Looks like the offspring of a Fender Tele and an EVH Wolfgang - very unique.

These guitars have a following on the country/western circuit and I can see (hear!) why. Very well balanced - even the neck pickup is clear and produces a very rich tone. The bridge pickup is what does it for me though. I think these pickups are the "regular" Lindy Fralin Tele pickups, as opposed to the "Blues Special" or some of his other. Adding a bit of overdrive gives a nice bluesy sound. The guitar is quiet, too, and I am surrounded by fluorescent lights. The body cavities are painted with some shielding paint, so I suppose this must help.
Action, Fit, & Finish

I bought this guitar new and the guitar was set up perfectly right out of the case. I'm not sure if this is how Gadow sends'em out of if this is how the dealer sets'em up. Either way, the intonation was spot-on. The guitar is flawlessly built in every way.
Reliability/Durability

The guitar is solid, made in the USA, but it's a Tele-style guitar, and I'd expect no less. This is not a guitar too pretty to play - it is meant to be played. All the ingredients used in this guitar are top-shelf, so it's no surprise the guitar is rugged.

The guitar comes with a limited lifetime warranty, but I doubt I'll ever need to use it. This is a workhorse of a guitar, and I can fix all the minor nuisances. The Gadow website has a message board where people ask questions about their guitars and they get pretty quick responses. I asked one myself and within hours got a response from the owner himself.

I'd replace it immediately if I ever lost it. I use my Gadows almost exclusively now (I own a Nashville, a Monterey, a Custom Hollow, a Custom Set Neck Hollow, and a Custom 4 bass). I own a Suhr Tele, a Sadowsky Tele and Fender Custom Shop (Fat) Tele, and this Gadow ranks right up there with all of these, but cost a bit less. Worth every penny.

Played through a Fender '59 Bassman, this guitar has all the spank and honk and country twang of a tele that you could ask for. I hear these guitars have a following on the country/western circuit and I can see (hear!) why. Very well balanced - even the neck pickup is clear and produces a very rich tone. Either way, the intonation was spot-on. I have a Gadow Monterey, too, and the only issue I have with Gadows is trivial and it relates to the visual aesthetics of the guitar: symmetrical headstock coupled with an asymmetrical guitar body just doesn't seem to look quite right to me. Anyway, the guitar is perfectly built in every way.
