exquisite, all solid wood seven string archtop from small builder. wonderfull acoustic tone with floating pickup. ebony board with neoclassical face except for small figure at 12th fret. first class tuners, fret work, pickguard and wiring. great finish work and figure in wood. to top it all off, it is amazingly light! because of this, the fret board makes it a bit head heavy, but still sits lovingly in ones lap.

sounds like a wonderfully balanced, solid wood, archtop...which it is. mine is strung with 14 g. flat wounds and is rich and woody. i have had the priviledge of playing a few of the premier offerings from this country's best lutiers and this instrument more than holds its own. as expected, great for standards, comping and jazz. can play killer blues if you let it get dirty. will feedback, because of its lightness, so high volumes are finicky.

had it only a few months, but with reasonable care should last decades and get only better as it matures. would play it out in carefully controlled area. would you play your L-5, guild ben*****o,or other premium guitar out? then you have your answer right there

i own between 20-30 guitars and have bought and sold another 30 over the years. this guitar is the single best purchase EVER. are you reading my review carefully? you can get a totally solid wood instrument for around or less than what the larger builders are charging for LAMINATES. it is in my humble opinion, the equal or better of the products coming out of the finest lutiers workshops today for thousands of dollars less! buy one now! he makes all kinds of incredible models (not just 7 strings). do you ever daydream about going back in time to buy someones guitar before they became famous and totally unaffordable? well, get off your duff NOW while you still have a window of opportunity. don't hold your breath waiting to find a premier archtop at a garage sale, i am telling you this is the real deal, and no, i am not related to the maker, and yes, i just stumbled onto his guitars by happy accident.
if lost or stolen, i would buy another in a heartbeat.
