I play ballads, originals, folk pop and classic rock. The sound is Excellent. very balanced between lows, highs and loud. the top just vibrates from here to tomorrow. Even plugged in this thing is a dream. I play open mics and the first night out all these guitar players were coming up to me after I had performed wanting to know what kind of guitar it was and what was in it that could sound that good. This guitar sounds great plugged in or unplugged.
Action, Fit, & Finish

the Action is what first got me . I must have played every Garrison in the music store but I kept coming back to this one .The neck plays like and electric guitar. IMHO this guitar played better than the G-50ce. It was much thinner and more comfortable. I have small hands with a little girth to them so neck size and playablity is very important.
Reliability/Durability

From everything I have experenced playing live and the over all construction, this guitar is built to last no finish flaws. frets are level and tidy. The guitar does have a little weight to it.I assume because of the fiberglass bracing under the top. This guitar will be around a long time. I have giged with it no problems here.

I am a songwriter and have been playing 40 years.This is the only guitar I own. This guitar is a well kept secret here in the USA.I compared it to a lot of guitars a Tok cutaway "double the price". Ovation celebrity, and a couple of Garrison G-35,g-40, G-50 and a AG400. Most of the guitars I compared it to cost between $200.00-$600 dollars more. The looks, the sound, the cost but the action is what got me. If it were stolen I would replace it if I could find one with this action and sound.
