As with all Garrison products they are rea lwood no laminates. The tonal quality is amazing for the price I paid for this beauty ($450 US with hardshell case). I shopped for Washburn, Taylor, Fender, Gibson etc. For the value you get with the Garrison it plays like the Taylor. The action atthe upper end of the fretboard was the best excpet for Taylor. It was easy to play especially if you never played a 12 string before which is my situation. It took me about 1 hour to get used to the wider neck vs my electrics and my Ovation. I wanted a no nonsense 12 string with no electrics for now. I must say I would rate this product a 10.

Wonderful tonal qualaties just what I was looking for in an acoustic. Melow and sustainable sound. Real pretty.

I played this out of the box in the store. I played the others as stated above and I kept going back to the Garrison. It was perfect for me. The fit and finish is what you would expect on a more expensive guitar in this range. Real nice.

Not sure about this category. However, the quality of hardware, the truss rod design (found on more expensive units), the new technology frame work, and the attention to detail I think will make this guitar last as long as you take care of it.

I own a vintage Carvin electric white with gold hardware, Ovation anniversary series 2002 model, Guild Starfire 4, Ari Pro and now the Garrison.
The Garrison 12 String is totaly different than my other units.
However, I wish the mfg. of all acoustic guitars start placing a strp nut on the head area so that you do not have to snake a strap through the strings by the nut.
