Built Canada in 2005 it has 22 frets, Solid-Top made of Sapele and Sitka Spruce, with a fishman pickup system. Tuners are Garrison brand but seem to be fine. Neck is mahogany and the fretboard is rosewood. It came in a hardshell case. I purchased a humidifier as a option to use in the winter months. also has Buzz Feiten Tuning System which works as advertised.
Sound
:

I use this guitar in a classic rock band when i need an acoustic sound. Play thur the PA with no effect and with the equalizer flat the sound seems a little bright but this can be corrected using the onborad equalizer or the pa tone controls. The sound is full and the rest of the band think it works great. Play primarily chords while using this guitar and the lead work is handled by the other guitar player on an electric. THe best part of the sound is when playing the instrument acoustically the tone and volume is great.

The action is Ok and the set up fine. There are no flaws or shoddy workmanship.
Reliability/Durability

So far the guitar has with stood band practice but the jury still out on live playing. The hardware seems like it will work as long as the axe is not abused. It too soon to talk about long term dependability. Being a semi pro I always take a backup.

I have been playing 39 years (god I'm old), and i also play a american strat and a Epiphone sheraton (a 335 copy), thru a mesa boogie mark IIB and a fender Hot rod. I would definately replace this guitar with another one. Before buying this I also played Taylors, great stuff but the equivalent models cost at least double.
