This large solid body 6 string was made in 1975 and I have had it since 1995. It's a 22 fret maple neck with a red painted body(don't know what wood) It has 2 pickups and a temolo bar. The tailpiece sort of sucks 'cos it moves too much as you use the trem bar causing the tuning to go off. The pickup switch is 3 way and is noisy. It clicks loudly when you use it. The neck is average size but the frets needed replacing when I got it. I put large jumbo fretwire on it. I think the body is a little heavier than a Les Paul.

The sound is good for rock music and if you record you'll find it does a pretty fair job. If you have to use tremolo look out. Your tuning will slip quickly. The pickups are fat and juicy and not rough sounding at all. I use it with a Crate solid state 50 watt amp or a 100 watt Marshall through a 4-10 cab.

Action is not that great but will do. Paintjob is not tops and seems to be applied in only a few light coats. The construction of this guitar is only fair but the sound when recorded can give me goosebumps.

I played in 1988 for the first time at a church in Roanoke Va. I have a Roland digital 8 track portastudio and 2 shure 57 microphones. I have a Dion acoustic guitar and a Fender jazzmaster. I also own a tenor banjo and my two amplifiers that I mentioned earlier. I also have a little drum machine. I don't really love this guitar but it has sounds that I don't have on my others.

This Orange sunburst beauty was made in USA in the early 70s. It has 22 frets and a pair of Wachett/Burns pickups. These pickups are large gaughty things with heavily wound coils. The pickups were designed by Ray Wachett in 1968 and used on several makes of guitars in the 70s. The guitar has a vibrato whammy bar and 2 volume knobsa and 1 tone.
The neck is a wide maple slab with nice jumbo frets.

I love the sound of the Geddy. I compare it to my Les Paul Custom and find it fatter and clearer. It has a good gain structure and passive electronics. I use it for heavy rock tunes and solos.

Action is low but needs adjustment regularly. I cannot seem to keep the neck strait. I consider this a major flaw.

I cannot rely on this guitar as a main ax. I have had trouble with the neck, the electronics and the tuning.

C It is overall a C instrument but I love it anyway. The Orange sunburst is beautiful and the tone is great. I've been play'n 10 years and own 2 other guitars.
