This is a dreadnaught-style guitar with a rosewood sides, back, and head veneer. The neck appears to be mahogany. The face is spruce, possibly ply? Tuners are sticky, but original. I had a new bridge saddle made; the factory one had a "dip" in it at the B string. It came with a cardboard case. This guitar was made in Brazil in 5/1974.
I bought it brand new off the rack.
Sound

I used this guitar as my main performing and practice axe for many years. It is a nice instrument for folk, country, acoustic rock, slack key, and even slide. The sound is clear and good, especially in the middle and high ranges. With new silk-silver strings it sounds darned good. I have been asked of this guitar in jam sessions, "Hey, can I play your Martin?"! The neck is rather chunky, and there was a flaw from the factory: varnish mishing from the side of the fingerboard that does not effect playing or performance.
Action, Fit, & Finish

Action was adequate except for the dip in the bridge saddle (someone got file-happy). The woods are beautiful. Gianinni apparently had access to lovely Amazon Jacaranda Rosewood aplenty back in the 70's.
This is a very solid guitar.
Reliability/Durability

I used this as a live performance guitar for a decade, no problem. The only "story" is a gouge across the face courtesy my brittany spaniel pup deciding to jump up on the guitar while it was in a stand during a practice break. A backup guitar is always a good idea.

I have been playing for 35 years. This guitar replaced a Harmony f-hole archtop, which I wish I still had, gosh darn it!
If lost, I would probably get a Gibson Hummingbird.
