This is a small classical guitar. it sounds very similar to the one posted before me. The body meets at the 12th fret. It has a 3 wood soundhole decoration. It has a plastic bridge and very simple tuners with plastic knobs on the turnpegs. It has a natural finish. This was given to me by a relative that didn't want it. This is what I started playing on. It has a good sound for the size that it is. Very mellow. I haven't played too many guitars but when I play with other people, I bring it along for kicks and someitmes end up using it as a primary. I would never choose it to buy, but for it's cheapness, it has good sound and is easy to play.

Sound : 5
It sounds very mellow, but also muffled at times especially with power chords. For picking it is great too. Is louder than some fullbodied guitars.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
The action is a little high, but withthe nylon strings it doesn't matter too much. I use this sometimes over my electric guitar for some solos/picking. There are several chips in the finish, but that is from rough use. There are no flows from the manufacturer that I know of.

Reliability/Durability : 10
It is not much to look at. I would use it for spontanious jams. It stays in tune except for the G string slips out every no and again. The finish is very durable, but I have put this guitar through some rough times. It shows some scratches now. This is sort of like my travel guitar.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I ahve tried to get info on the Giannini company, but have not been able to find anything about/from them. I have no idea where this guitar came from or how old it is.

Overall Rating : 6
I started playing withthis guitar 4 yrs ago. I have since bought a Yamaha Pacifica (electric w/humbucker). I plan on buying a jumbo, accoustic/electric, cutaway to replace this Giannini. I would buy one of these if the price was good. I don't hav much to compare it with. It makes for a descent beginer, travel, throw around guitar.
