Made in Brazil, not really sure when. I Bought it used. I've no Idea on what wood the body/neck where built, but the guitar was pretty light weighted and had almost no sustain. 2 crappy humbucker pick-ups wich were lately replaced bu "Luthier's" pick-ups with volume and tone controls, plus turn for each pick up. Original Pick Ups looked like siver Gibson Les Paul Humbuckers, while the replacing ones ( which sounded a bit better, but still weak ) had some resemblances ( on their look ONLY ) with EMGs. I think that it had a somewhat good number of feartures, but the main problem was actually ...---->>>

It sounded like cheap crap stuff. Well , I actually bought this thing for a very low price, you know ? It was actually my very first guitar, and I liked it at first, but I felt that something was "wrong" with its pick ups. so I replaced them to get a better sound quality, and I got it, but all in all I'd say that this guitar is for starters and you shoukld only stay with this one for 3 or 4 months, then, when you decide that you really want to be a serious guitarrist you must replace it. I actually owned this lovely piece of junk for 3 years, because here in Brazil its hard to get a really good import stuff. what I liked about this guitar was that, despite of being a very cheap almost "toy" guitar, it had a very heavy tone for the money, and I still love it in a certain way for being my first guitar. I like it more for the "sentimental" value that for its sound itself. my lovely "little rotten-crappy guitar" ( LOL ). last time I remeber I plugged it was to record the Guitar Lines of a extreme grindcore joke band project I had years ago. I wouldn't Insult my other "real" guitars playing a crappy style of "music" as grindcore, you know ...

as I said, this is a semi-toy guitar, so you shouldn't use it live. only for starters/beginners , etc , who still can't afford something better for now or just want to "have a guitar home". well as a home usage, all I could say is that this guitar lasted really well. I even played in a thrash band for a while with this one, and I loved it then. despite of being somewhat crappy and having a weird tone ( really cheap wood ) and almost no sustain, the sound was somewhat heavy and even "warm" for a very crappy guitar like this. the finish and the painting where plain crap, but for a semi toy guitar they where OK.But as I said before I'm lucky I never needed to use it live, because , it was reliable, but I think it would sound terrible in an actual Live situation.

This is a toy more than a guitar itself. if your kid is 12 and is in a rush of buying a guitar just because he has a desire to play some Nirvana/Ramones but has no serious intention of being an actual guitarrist, maybe this guitar could fit . Once he decides he REALLY wants to play the guitar and want to learn more/ develop his playing etc, another guitar must take its place
