Features : 8
Brazilian 6 string nylon guitar. Thin body single cut away acustic instrument.Piezo pick up with single volume control.I'm wood-blind and don't know what's in here, but no lamination.Light.Flat top.Gold looking tuners(ie.cheap).Thin neck, flat fretboard.Natural light color.

Sound : 10
I play many music styles, mostly latin and caribbean. But I also like african, indian and oriental music. All kind's of amplification. From one of my pc monitors(AltecLansingACS340).Old Ampeg B100(txsistor rectifiers!)//plastic tub w/2-12" MCM Electronics"Harke replacement"aluminum spkrs.MacIntosh 60's tube amp//Bag End 2-10" & twtr(this set up sounds very cool). No noise but feedback happy.Bright(D'Addario's & Savares).Dark-bright(LaBella's black Nylons, love the sound but they stink up my fingers with the brass, cooper or bronze they use). This is a "samba" guitar and cuts thru any big group you're playing with.My favorite acustic.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
Was a tiny bit high so I shaved the saddle.Who knows about the piezo pick up but works fine(the wire to the vol. control was loose). No flaws in the joints. It has begun to bend at the soundboard but so far it has not affected intonation or action.

Reliability/Durability : 7
It is a bit light and feels flimsy(It is).We use this guitar 3-4 times every week, last 2 years.Nothing has broken but I had to tight the jack. The finish is thin and will ding easy.Maybe I will re-paint with better and harder "gringo" varnish. No back up but always bring extra strings(Why the D string is problematic sometimes?.Physical relations of frequency and string diameter?).

Customer Support : No Opinion
I will like to find more about Gianinni(web site?),that is how I en ded @ Harmony-Central.com.I'l look in Google next.

Overall Rating : 10
20+ off/on pro-performer. Audio/Video disciplines(technocrat).I'm really a bass player but play many other instruments.Have a rare 80's Ibanez "tele" prototype.Gibson pre-production(prototype too)5 str.Les Paul bass. Also have a couple of mexican guitars from Paracho.Michoacan.In this town every other building is an instrument maker(rought finishes but good sound, intonation and action).I have compared with other "nylons" like:Hoffner,Godin,Takamine,"Chet Atkin",Yamaha(uagh!),etc.;but the one that felt the most similar was this "custom" andalucian spanish guitar by the Gomez family.$3k!,100 times what I paid for this Gianinni. The Gomez guitar also plays and sounds better, but not by far.
