I play Rock, old (1960s) R&B, and Blues. I run this through a Rio Grande "The Bone" sound hole unit through a Fender Acoustasonic Jr. This is a very bright sounding guitar and has excellent playability even above the 12th fret. Even when playing chords, this guitar does a good job of differentiating between notes played. Like my Taylors, you hear pretty much everything being played.

I bought this used but I like the current setup. This guitar has an Ebony finish. There is some surface checking but it has no impact on the tone of the guitar. All of the hardware is in showroom condition.

This looks like a very reliable guitar. I think it would weather the hazzards of the road without any problems.

Never dealt with Gibson but I hear that they're pretty responsive. It had a five year warranty when new.

I've been playing for about 30 years. I own eighteen guitars, seven amps and a small recording studio. I am particularly fond of the neck on this guitar. This is my 3rd Gibson of this size. Traded the other two for a quick profit. They had cheap ladder bracing on the top. I think I'll be keeping this "X" braced one. Although the tone is quite different, I like this guitar as much as my Taylors.
