This is the 2007 gibson les paul custom anniversary with the 24 karat goldplated headstock,ONLY 157 MADE the finish is antique gold nitrocellulose lacquer,gold grover tuners,with low-profile fret wire on a ebony fingerboard.

The guitar does a good BB sound with the switch up not good for rock in that position it can get muddy sounding,but lowering the pup will clean that up, middle is great for a thick warm clean sound,down is that classic tone that will get me from van halen to ted nugent to pink floyd its all there the rest is in your amp an fingers.

I know why they call this guitar the fretless wonder now, it is the first guitar in my life that I can take the strings down as far as I want without getting any buzz,the set up was good ,but I like the strings low low so I moved them down even more.

Been playing for 37 years an can honestly say that playing guitar has just become alot easier because of the string action of this guitar, I went looking for a new fender but I came home with this I do that all the time I go to buy a fender but come home with something else,but I dont regret this one, I didnt know if I would like it because of the thicker neck, but after a few times playing, it felt natural, my paul reed smith I would rate an 8 for string action,but this 57 is a 10+
