Early 1990's Gibson Epiphone Stratocaster with a red Epiphone headstock. It has 2 single coils and a humbucker for sound diversity. It has a 5 way toggle switch which is great for switching between tones.
The neck is thin rosewood and plays beautifully.
Sound
:

It offers excellent Strat-style tones and can easily be toggled for harsher sounds. This sound would be for a grungier player. Not what I like, but it's doable.
Action, Fit, & Finish

It has excellent action and comes with a regular strat-style bridge which makes playing that much more enjoyable.

It's got a butt and packs some pounds. It could handle almost anything any other Strat could handle

This guitar is definitely worth keeping and playing mostly in part because of it's sound diversity. It can be used for a wide array of styles, and with the right effects the possibilities are almost endless.
