I have a late 1998 or so Elite Deluxe doublecut. It was a Namm show guitar in a quilted purple color. Each pickup has it's own volume control and pull knob for single coil taps. There are no tone controls and this guitar doesn't need them. It has an ebony fretboard with diamond abolone inlay. Locking tuners and stringthrough design.

This guitar is a tone giant. I bought this guitar because we were trying guitars in my friends music store. We must have tried a half dozen or so. We were using one amp for all the models when he finally plugged the GMP in. My ears percked right up and I asked if I could get my hands on it. It felt great and sounded even better. I took it home that afternoon and am glad I did. I keep it out all the time and use it as a standard for all the other guitars I buy. If you can pick one up sometime I would give this one a try.
