Two humbuckers (custom custom in bridge, '59 in neck). Set neck. Les Paul/ Gretsch body (alder). Ebony board with abalone inlays. Gold sparkle finish. Less Paul-type Tone Pros bridge. Two volumes, two tones. Bridge volume on lower horn (not too fond of this "feature"). friction -free nut to straight string pull headstock.

Big crunch, endless sustain. Bridge pickup's great with harmonics-not squeally. Neck pickup a bit muddy with a lot of gain but cleans up when you back off on its volume.

Absolutely perfect setup. Guitar was shipped cross-country, so staff wound strings loose, but when tuned to pitch setup was perfectly intonated and had super low action, a preference of mine. Fretwork was immaculate, as was finish-paint was amazing! Also, it should be mentioned that this model came with a sculpted heel-incredible access to upper register!

When guitar arrived, three-way switch on upper bout was broken-had to be replaced. When it was repaired , my luthier commented on how crappy it was, especially when compared to every other facet of the guitar's electronics. Tones and volumes are super smooth, no scratchiness, with even dynamic-travel. Body and neck are joined solidly-been through a couple gigs now and has performed admirably. Seems to be built like a tank. Replaced the strap buttons with Dunlop strap-locks, as I always do. The Tone Pros bridge is impeccable-really withstands hard physical gigging.

Tried to contact the company via e mail about the three way switch-no go. Their site hasn't been updated anytime recently.

This is my 24th electric guitar; I've been playing for 26 years now. This is certainly the best guitar I've ever had the pleasure of owning. Well-built, wonderful tone, exceptional beauty. In a word, solid. Much better than any strat and les paul as far as build quality, attention to detail and sound. My only gripes would be the oddly placed volume knob (though I'm getting used to it , actually) and the fact that I can't seem to reach the company online.
