It's a Canadian built guitar , rosewood fingerboard , 5-way switch and volume and tone knob . Pick-up config is hum-single-hum , with single coil tap under tone knob . Black body , with a quite aggressive cut-away . Equipped with a floyd rose-type trem and locking tuners . 22 frets , medium sized ...

You can get quite a range of sounds with this guitar , but I think it was build specifically for the distortion and overdrive genres ... The guitar DOES have some character , and it sounds remarkably different from an ESP or Jackson . Of course , if you turn up the gain , this difference starts to dissapear . The Godin pick-ups do their job admirably ...

No Opinion
Can't tell anything about this one , I got mine through an official dealer , who set it up completely for free ...

No problems whatsoever with the reliability . Tuning is top , sound even better . It can withstand any kind of tremolo abuse you can imagine .
I only had one problem until now : the screw which locks the tremolo arm in the tremolo had jumped loose . Nothing a screwdriver couldn't solve ... Top !!!!!

Guitar has been signed and setup up by Mr. Robert Godin himself !!!!!!
I met him on one of his shows with Sylvain Luc . When asked to sign my guitar , he promptly took a screwdriver , a cloth and a tuning machine to set it up to pro levels ....
You gotta love him ...

I've been studying music for three years now , and I own a Fender USA strat and I have played and tested some other guitars , but nothing within the price range comes even close . I've got one tip : don't buy the black finish : you'll have to clean the guitar every 5 minutes !!!!!
