Hey all this is a review for the Godin Artisan ST-5 or ST-V. Mine is a beautiful trans blueburst over a slightly birdseye maple top with natural(undyed wood) binding around the body, Rosewood over maple board and a SUPER Schaller Trem. It has a slightly tilted single blade in the neck and a dual blade humbucker in the bridge. Mine is a 92' and has a Vol and Tone. The tone can be pulled up for coil splitting in the bridge PU and has a tone shift circiut also. Everthing on this is quality and you can tell once you play it! Great neck! Smooth frets and a nice rounded profile. Very comfortable to play for hours.

This baby loves to rock but the pickups are very versatile also. Back them down and they can twang with the best of them. I hav ethe action set the lowest of all of my guitars and it will not buzz! Iv'e used it through numerous amps with great success on all.

I can't say enough about Godins quality and finish. I got it used so I can't comment on the factory setup, but once I set it up to my Specs. I couldn't have been happier. I just love to even look at it when it's sitting there, just beautiful. I really dig the different body style. A longer horn on the top and almost none on the bottom. Different but cool

I really don't foresee any problems with her. I don't see many (mabey 1 or 2 on Ebay).

Been playing since '88. I have lots of other guitars. This one rates on the high end of my axes.

the godin ST5 has a silver leaf maple bodied. rock maple neck with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard.the pickup CFG is a godin blade pickup in the neck (strat size) and a humbucker in the bridge (the humbucker looks like it may be to of the blade pickups hocked together) it has a floyd rose bridge, one volume ,one tone with a push\pull pot on it to split the pickups. the ST5 is strat shape but the top cut away is much longer than a normal strats and the bottom one is much smaller.
so you can get at all the frets. Godin guitars are made in Berlin NH, USA from parts hand crafted in La Patrie, Qc, Canada.
my godin is black this is a pic of one (it is not mine! the black once look better)
