Serial number 237008, Model TS-4 12 string, folk neck (wide and 12th fret at the body). I've had the tuners replaced since the original ones broke down. Hardshell case with it. The top is a blonde color, natural wood, but the finish has lots of little hairline cracks in it, sort of gives it character. Pick guard installed after a little damage from heavy strumming. Sound is great, full, rich, can't find anything else that sounds like it. Difficult to play, action is a little high (any lower and it buzzes). Working up the neck past the 7th fret it goes way out of tune. Best at easy chord sing-a-long style playing.
I've installed a Shadow electronic pickup, fits in the soundhole. Removable. Jack is in the tail strap button.

Sound : 10
Great acoustic sound. Old wood really sounds nice. By the serial number listing posted here http://www.locksley.com/vintage/goya.htm , this guiter was made in 1950. It's older than I am!!

Action, Fit, & Finish : 4
Action, a little high (lower and it buzzes).
Working up past the 7th fret all strings go sharp, and action is even higher.
The bridge has been re-worked to help with intonation.

Reliability/Durability : 7
Lice playing - you betcha'. I do sing-around-the-campfire frequently.
Hardware, tuning pegs replaced.
Finish is great.
Strap buttons solid.
Dependable, yes.
Always use it without backup.

No customer support. Goya out of business. It is reported to have been acquired by C.F. Martin in the 1970's.

Overall Rating : 6
Been playing since I was little (10 or something).
Other gear - old Japanese no name acoustic nylon string - but great sound. About ready to fall apart.
Stolen or lost - today I'd buy a Taylor A/E 12 or 6 string.
Love - the great sound. Hate, the action and detuning on the neck. Favorite feature, folk neck for my fat fingers to work on.
Did not compare it to anyting else. Bought in an opportunity.
