This guitar was built in 79 or 80 by martin in pennslvania. It is like a martin em-18. Its a solidbody with 2 dimarzio humbuckers and a coil split switch. This guitar is of neckthrough body constructions though its martin counterpart has a set neck. The guitar has a really cool brown woodgrain finish with a natural stripe right down the middle. It has 24 frets and a leo quann bridge and plays like a dream. The shape of the body is like nothing I've ever seen it kind of sg style without the roundness. Buy this guitar if you see one Its the best guitar I've ever owned for under $800 dollars and it only cost $165 at a pawn shop and is in near mint condition

This guitar sounds so good. Its probably the pick ups, which sound so creamy and thick. I don't get into crunchy distortion but this guitar sounds so good like that its hard not to be.

I play this guitar more than my es 330 and my les paul for that matter any guitar i own. It not better than all of them but its originaland has a cool vibe and it was cheap. i find myself bragging more about the cheap ones than the ones i spent thousands on. If you find one of these guitars or a martin em 18 find me i by it.
