Features : 8
Early sixties, made in Italy, 21 frets, four buttons for bridge pickup, neck pickup, both pickups, and all pickups off.

Two minihumbuckers.

Can'te tell what kind of wood it is, it is a sunburst color with fake wood-looking pickguard.

Body style is kind of like a Jaguar. Has a Jazzmaster/Jaguar style tremelo. Scale length is I think 24 1/2.

Cam with case, strap, and tremelo arm.

Sound : 10
I bought the guitar because of the way it sounded. Thicker than a single coil guitar, but twangier and not as much sustain as a humbucker guitar. I use .11 gauge strings, and it sounds great for both rythm and lead. Of all my guitars, it makes the smoothest transition from rythm to lead tones. I don't have to step on a boost or make eq adjustments, I just play.

My humbucker guitars have too much sustain and are too thick sounding for cutting ryhm work, and my single coil guitars, while good for rhythm , sound too thin for leads. This guitar sounds great for both.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 6
I needed to get this thing adjusted. I put heavier strings on and that helped out alot. Neck is extremely thin.

I will also have to get the pickups potted, they are microphonic :(

Reliability/Durability : 7
I gigged with it and sounded great. I had t oadjust my amp dfifferently than normal so I wouldn't get microphonic feedback.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Goya is out of business.

Overall Rating : 10
I love the raunchy tone of this thing, thick yet twangy. The tone is fantastic. I play garage rock.
