Just a follow up to my review of this product.
Now the strings have settled down, believe it or not,"MY GUITAR DOES NOT GO OUT OF TUNE,WHEN USING THE TREM (even quite heavily)ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have read on the net that getting non-locking trems to stay in tune during use is all about reducing friction, by golly, I think they are right!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you Graphtech.

There are two other types of graphtec stringsaver saddles available for strats, black ones and white ones, I did not want to alter the look or sound of my strat, so the Ferraglides which look very simular to the original chrome saddles with a little black insert where the string passes over the saddle were the ones for me.
The 'little black thing' is a material that releases teflon as the string rubs over it to allow the string to move and not bind.
This should help tunning stability and stop string breakage.
Another good point is that the saddles come with chrome intonation screws (fenders are black, I prefer the look of the chrome screws.
You also get a free allen/hex key to adjust the hight of them.

Sound : 10
I did have concerns about having a material other than good old steel supporting the string, fearing it would cause a loss of treble and punch, but the Ferraglides are actually brighter sounding than the all steel original saddles- that does not really make sense- but they are brigher sounding!!!!!They also cause longer sustian!!!!!!!
I like this, you can always turn down the treble if it is too much.
I know it is subjective, but I think the guitar sounds better with them.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
They look better than Fenders saddles(sorry Fender, there is nothing wrong with the look of your saddles)but these look nicer.
One imrovement over fenders saddles is that the bottom of the hight adjustment screws on the Ferraglides is rounded, and therefore does not scratch the baseplate of the tremelo unit if like me you are too lazy to slacken the strings when you adjust the intonation of the guitar, fenders are hollow and very sharp!!!.

Reliability/Durability : 8
They are made as well as the ones they replaced, I do not know how long the Super-dooper slippery inserts will last, even steel wear's away eventually.
If you are a giging guitarist, I think it would be very wise to install these as they are bound to be more reliable than plain steel ones as far as string breakage is concerned.

Customer Support : 6
Companies web site is good.
45 day money back if you dont find improvement.
Not many retail outlets in the UK with them.
Only a 6 here because they are not widely available in the UK, and they should be, WD said they sell like hot cakes, especially the chrome Ferraglides reviewed here.

Overall Rating : 9
Played for 20 odd years, fitted to Fender american series stratocaster with two point trem, which I have also fitted with a Callaham vintage steel inertia block.
If my Strat vanished I would buy some more Ferraglides to put on the replacement strat.
I intend to install a graphtech nut and stringtree to further stablize the guitars tuning.
