Apparently Graphite based replacement saddles for a Tune-o-matic styled bridge...
I used these to replace my P.O.S. bridge saddles that came stock in my Ibanez Jet King II guitar.... Yes, this is an inexpensive guitar, but, it plays well and sounds good.... But - also - it broke strings continuously!! I even took it to a local "luthier" to have him work on it.... he filed the saddles.... Only to have it continue to break strings.... Out of desperation... and a desire to confidently play the guitar.... I contacted Graph Tech... incredible customer service.... Ordered them and waited for their arrival... with hope...
Features... they look like saddles, they work like saddles... They DON'T break strings like crappy saddles.

Sound : 8
Sound... I would say more sustain.... Feel, maybe they allow smoother bends.... They are an improvement... Tough to be objective with this one but I would say because of their quality machining and construction that they are less apt to be vibrating around in energy depleting ways.... they fit tight and exude quality...

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Here is where they shine.... they are extremely well machined, they are of higher quality than the stock ones by leaps and bounds... They fit flawlessly into the existing bridge... It was a little tricky getting the old saddles out however... retaining spring etc... but... with a little persistance and patience... success....

Reliability/Durability : 8
I wonder if they will wear out quicker than steel... but, I assume the folks who came up with these did their homework and balance "softness" with structural strength... I can't help but wonder why the big guys don't offer these on their guitars out of the factory.... Why sell guitars that break strings and piss people off? Oh, wait, I almost forogt... Doesn't Fe#%er sell strings as well as guitars?

Customer Support : 10
Fantastic.... helpful, answered my "dumb" questions and looked into whether or note I could get some replacement saddles for a guitar I own with an older unique bridge set-up....
Quick and responsive with the right info.....

Overall Rating : 10
These are a phenominal, fantastic product in that the do exactly what they are intended to do... I have yet to break a string on my Jet King II and I have been using it for lessons, as a back up when I break strings on my strat.... I am going to pick a set up for my new strat asap. If you have a guitar that breaks strings at the saddles... buy a set of these... You WILL NOT be disapointed... Dollar for dollar buying these saddles has been one of my most satisfying purchases... The live up to their name...
