Made 2001 in China. Laminate top. Four slider eq, piezo pick-up, both Belcat. A natural finish version of the Yamaha APX, basically.

Almost no bass, so potentially it records well without hassle. Sustain is quite poor, especially all B notes. Play an open G chord and you've only got a G5 after about half a second. The pick-up's not bad, while it's working.
Action, Fit, & Finish

Shocking action. Over a quarter of an inch at the 12th fret. Mine was left-handed and had a right-handed saddle. the material was good but of course the b-bump went forward instead of backward in relation to the others - not good.

I'm sure it would have been fine, for the money and as a compromise while I'm poor - if I'd let it live. I smashed it up on Christmas Eve because of its flaws. I didn't espxect the earth, but the shop I bought it from were evil and dodged all responsibility. Hats off to the Chinese factory workers, but as usual the manufacturer then tainted it. The wire for the pick-up broke while I was trying to improve it.
Customer Support

The shop, who are also the distributors and so on, made an initial show of helpfulness, but soon opted out. To be honest I hope they go bust or that I have an oppurtunity to kick their windows in.

I've been playing fifteen years or so. I've really only had cheap stuff, but I liked my Norman B20 and my Sigma D1, which I suppose are semi-pro-ish.
