Features : 2
I have no idea when this guitar was made. Inside, though, it states it was made in Taiwan. Its got 18 frets. It doesn't have a pickup, although I intend to install one soon. I'm not really sure of anything with this guitar, except that it looks old. I wouldn't be too surprised if it's over a dozen years old. The tuners are white, and look plasticky.

It's a basic guitar, but I really like it.

Sound : 9
I play a lot of John Mayer, DMB, Nick Drake, as well as other things which really should be played on electrics instead of acoustics. I almost always play it unplugged, but that's just because I haven't installed a permanent pickup yet.

It's quite a loud guitar, especially when you consider that it's about the size of a classical. It's actually louder than my Chardon dreadnaught. It's got a smooth, slick sound, that's rich and warm at the same time. I typically play it for a long time without changing the strings because it gets a really mellow tone when the strings are allowed to age on the instrument. I dig the sound.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
The action was unbearably high when we got the guitar -- I had to trim each fret with a nail file, and I also trimmed the bridge. After a lot of work, it's about as low as any acoustic I've ever played -- but the sound is beautiful. The tuners used to be rough, so I dabbed them with a little bit of cooking oil. Let me tell you, it takes some work to get it in shape, but once you do, the guitar plays like an electric dream.

Reliability/Durability : 7
It looks solid, evn though it's got lots of little marks and scratches here and there because I'm still not responsible enough, unfortunately. It definately looks like a guitar I could depend on in a gig, although I most likely won't be gigging with it until I get a set of good mics or a pickup installed. But in a purely acoustic situation, I'd have no trouble using it and flying solo.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I've never been able to find a website for the guitar, unfortunately.

Overall Rating : 10
I really wish I could find another one, because I'm afraid I might lose this one, and I like it so much. It's a simple, no frills guitar, but if you get it set up, you'll enjoy it. If you've got an extra, I'd be willing to buy it from you. For the money, it's a sweet, sweet guitar.
