These are currently made for several brands, e.g. Wesley, somewhere in the far East; the Gremlin brand is made for Hobgoblin Music of Bristol. Single humbucker, single volume control. Adjustable bridge. Transparent acrylic body (mine's orange, other shades available); neck is a light-colured hardwood with a dark-coloured fretboard. The small body makes it very portable, and adaptable to lap or tabletop playing, but means it doesn't fit a normal guitar stand or case. Despite the small size, it's a full scale length with 22 frets, and feels fairly natural to play in the usual position with a strap.

I normally use it tabletop style, played with sticks, marbles, bow, bits of rubber etc. I use heavy flat-wound strings (D'Addario Chromes). It gives lots of bass, though not a muddy sound; the treble is much clearer than I'd expect from a cheap guitar with a humbucker and those strings, though I certainly wouldn't call it bright. The single pickup means it's not that versatile, but the minimal electronics help avoid hiss and hum. Sounds good clean or distorted. Surprisingly good sustain for a little chunk of plastic.

Make sure you get a good one. There were four of these in the shop, and three of them had bent necks. The first one I tried was completely unplayable, the next two weren't much better. The one I got is good and straight, and has stayed that way. The action was set high, but I lowered it with no problem. The holes drilled for the electronics look a bit scrappy, but it's certainly an eye-catching instrument. This one scores 7, the display model would have scored 1.

No problems to report. It will get scratched, but I don't care. If it breaks, a new one doesn't cost very much. I have gigged it without backup, but with my kind of music I'd carry on playing if I snapped it in half. The volume knob is good and solid, the tuners less so.

I've never dealt with them for repairs. The shop staff are helpful and knowledgeable.

It's a cheap, fun guitar, but more than a novelty item. Decent sounds and build for the money. I bought it because I wanted something quirky rather than the average Strat copy. However, the factory obviously has very poor quality control, so look down the neck, check for fret buzz, make sure you get a good one. Don't buy mail order.

This is a bare bones guitar, one rear humbucker, one volume pot, a fixed bridge and a 22 frett neck.
The body is strange, it is made of some plastic resin, its orange coloured and is see through, this is appealing and the one of the reasons I brought the guitar. The ability to see the wires and soldering is handy as you can see how your other guitars are wired without taking them to bits.
The body is about 18" long 6" wide and 2" deep, hence why it is a travel guitar.
The neck is made of wood.

This is a budget guitar and that reflects in the sound.
It is reasonable but is made better with a little touch of effects, with my distortion pedal on it gived it a nice crunch and that sort of raw/rough sound often missed in dearer models.
Though this is an electric guitar is still sound loud even when unplugged.

The action is high, not as high as some guitars I have seen though, the guitar is playable but not like my other models of guitars.
I brought it second hand so someone may have played with the set-up.
Despite the high set-up it is still playable.
The bridge seems alright and so do the pickups.
The finish is plastic, it scratches as some of the marks on the body show.

Well it is a travel guitar so I have never gigged with it. At home and outside it seams fine.

All in all for the price of #60.00 it is okay, action a little high, body scratched but still a playable guitar. This is handy for when you want to just strum or compose outside.
Why take one of my other guitars out in there bags when this fits into a sports bag, rucksack with relative ease, the headstock may stick out but still better than lugging around a big case.
Would I by another if this one got stolen, Yes for the ease of carrying it alone.
This is a fun little guitar, sounds raw and relatively loud even when unplugged for a electic guitar.
