Like the guy above me said you can visit Gretsch' Webpage

Sound : 8
The sound is great. This guitar is is noiseless. Its very bright. If your into the humbucker distorted guitars I wouldnt buy this or any gretsch for that matter. With the number of pickup switches you can get a full variety of tone. As a rockabilly player i love this guitar it suits all my needs. I like to run it through a Fender Twin Reverb with an OD pedal. Its like having sex it never gets old.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 5
When receiving the guitar the first thing i noticed was the playability. The action on this thing straight out of the box is amazing. I couldnt ask for a better set-up. One thing I did find a flaw in was the pickguard was screwed in so tight it cracked the finish. One other thing i found out that it had a bad pod. I would liek to mention that i bought this thing brand spanken new right of the box. Not a blemish item. The tone knob and volume knob were also loose. A quick easy fix but when you pay so much money for a guitar you wouldnt expect this right out of the gate.

Reliability/Durability : 8
This guitar i find somewhat reliable. The hardware is fine as of now and the finish is good. Besides that one crack in the finish it is very nice.

This subject will get me on a soapbox. I will tell you one thing. If you are wanting to get problems taken care of with Gretsch or should i say Fender strap up and get ready to go through hell. Also expect a big phone bill. Like i said straight out of the gate i had very many problems with this guitar. Enough to say abnormal. I also would like to state that i did not recieve any of the okay cards or authentication cards. Basically NO PAPERWORK! Well when i called Gretsch i notified them of the problems. They told me to take it to the service center. I took it to the service center. They said they would not handle due to fender being tightwads and not wanting to make the customer happy. SO basically i had to pay for everything out of my pocket. I basically broke even witht he payments if i were to trade it in and take a huge loss. But overall if you are to buy a gretsch i would thoroughly look over it before you purchase it and i would not order them.

Overall Rating : 7
I have been playing for about 8 years. My Gear: Gibson RVH 30 supergoldtone. Gretsch duo jet. Im not going to bother with the little things. SOmething i might wish i had asked or known about before i bought this guitar is that the customer service is very unprofessional and basically that it sucks. I love the guitar in general but wish i had a new one with no flaws when i first recieved it.

2005 made in Japan reissue of Gretsch's 1962 Tennessean - the one that George Harrison played on Help, Sgt. Peppers and the Shea Stadium concert. Single cutaway 2" deep with 22 frets (plus zero fret), laminated maple body, simulated f-holes, 24.6" scale 3-piece maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, Grover Sta-tite tuners, Bigsby vibrato, Rocking Bar bridge, 2 single coil HiLo'Tron pickups, 3-way pickup selector, volume control for each PU plus master volume, a tone selector switch and a mute switch. Came with Gretsch case, trussrod wrench and 2 extra chrome knobs.

I play a variety of styles, and I believe the guitar is capable of almost any. I've played through my Ampeg Jet II, Kalamazoo Model 2, and my Korg amp simulation. Sounds great with no effects, and also with effects tastefully applied. These pickups are heaven - Rich, full and bright - like no others out there. You can go from chimey Ric-like to warm jazz with everything in between. I may say this more than once, but there is absolutely nothing that I dislike about this guitar!

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
The guitar played great right off the shop wall. Guitar making at it's best - beautiful! The neck is slender and fast. The finish - dark burgandy with wood grain showing through is superb. After years of messing with intonation, here is the dead-straight Rocking Bar bridge - I swear it works better than a tunomatic! The Bigsby is smooth and stays in tune. It is a high-end guitar that doesn't disappoint in any way.

Reliability/Durability : 10
This guitar should stand up to any situation. Again - top notch quality.

Only called customer service for some info, but was treated well and got some great info.

I have been playing for 40 years and own several nice guitars - G&L Legacy, Fender 50's Tele, DeArmond Starfire Special, Epiphone Howard Roberts, Epi DC p-90's, Danelectro 12-string, Gretsch Rancher Jr. acoustic, Gretsch Synchromatic Jet jr.. If this guitar was stolen or lost I would be heartbroken, and would try to replace ASAP. I admit that it might have been some time before I would be able to spend the going price for this guitar, but at the price I paid it is a real steal. It has all of the expected sounds, but has so much more to offer. I find myself playing things on it that previously were designated for one of my other guitars. In short, it is the nicest looking, sounding and feeling guitar I have ever owned.

WOW! I usually play alot Beatles (of course) But I was looking at a gretsch that could also give me something else sound wise. Well it did, I got great country and Jazz sounds and some sound that I haven't begun to experiment with yet. I play the guitar though a cheap VOX 15R Pathfinder and it sounds great.

PREFECT, thanks Gary at North Coast Music. Now, I'm an intonation Nazi so I've noticed that two low string are a tiny bit off on the 12th fret so I ordered a GT415 roller bridge so I can adjust each strings intonation. But thats just me, I the bar bridge is really close enough. Hey, buy from North Coast Music they inspect their guitars before they ship them. They don't just open the case to make sure there is a guitar in there they actually look at each guitar and if its shit they sent it back to the company. That more then I can say for Musicians Friend read my Epiphone Casino elitist review.

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
Its seems pretty tough but for the price i'm going to be pretty f'ing careful with it.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Well I don't know about Gretsch, they are going through changing of the guard now. But North Coast music answered ever single one of my stupid questions with respect and honesty. I can tell you how much I dig those guys, or at least Gary the man I dealt with. I know they only have a 48hour inspection period before you can return an item but I have a feeling they won't send anything you find a problem with.

Overall Rating : 10
Man, I'm a cheap bastard because I'm poor but this, I hate to say it, was worth it. Stop fucking around with cheap as epiphone type guitars and buy a Gretsch or a Ric. I found its phyiscally alot easier to play a guitar that actually sounds good. The notes just fall together.
