If you're looking at this, you've probably already done you research. Mine came with a hardshell case and I got the wanker at Guitar Center who sold it to me to throw in all kinds of crap like a cord, box of strings, etc.

I play everything from blues to straight out punk and this thing sounds like a dream. It's output is SO HOT it's amazing. I play through a Carvin X100B (an exceptionally under-rated amp) and I can crank this thing WAY up. It's got that amazing twang I'm sure we're all familiar with at this point but with nice heavy strings, this thing has plenty of chug as well. After playing a LOT of guitars on my tone quest, I though I would play this even though I was sure I wouldn't shell out the cash. Ha! As soon as I plugged it I kind of slumped because I realized how much money I was gonna have to dish out.

As I'm sure you all know, these things a beautiful. The action is so easy it makes my old SG feel like a clunker. There are some problems. On the 7th fret, the hi-E will catch under the fret if you bend it too far. The tuning pegs are radically different in their tightness. The top strap peg was basically stripped when I got it. The knobs, though smooth, come loose easily. Realisticly, these do not add up to all that much and were all easily fixed but come on, this thing should string itself for the price one pays..

This is key. I am not nice to this guitar. I play in a couple of different bands and I tend play rather ferociously. I'm talking about jumping around, falling on the ground, spinning, string beating chaos. This thing just went on a 5 week US tour without incident. That is all I need. I never worry for a seccond that this thing will cease to function. It just sounds better and warmer the more I play it. A work of art.. Form and Function.

Haven't had to deal with them. Don't suspect I'd even try.

I compared this to Gibsons, Rics, and Fenders of all flavors (not just crappy Guitar Center ones) and this thing smokes them all. The thing that really sold me is how you can play a lead bit over a sustained open E and the high notes cut straight through. It never ceases to amaze me with the abuse it can take. If I managed to destroy it, I'd hang it on my wall and buy another one without a seccond thought. Lost or stolen? I'd cry and remember the good times and buy another one without a seccond thought.
