This guitar is very versatile, from classic rock to jazz, country, and blues. I play through a Bogner Shiva 6L6, and Fender Rivera era Concert amp. The guitar is very easy to play and with the 12' radius and medium large roundback neck it's easier for me to transition from my acoustic electric to the electric. I like everything about this guitar, and for the price, I should. But it is well worth it

The guitar was set up very nice at the factory. I purchased the guitar from Wildwood Guitars over in Colorado, so I bought the guitar without actually playing it first; I normally would never do this, but I'm glad I took a chance; this is a very special instrument. I had purchased a brand new Baker B1 and only had it for about a week, when I decided it wasn't for me; I traded in the B1 for this Grosh, and I'm loving it; I guess I am more of a Fender style guy. The guitar did have a couple of scratched on the neck, but I called Don Grosh on the phone, and he answered the phone and told me to bring it over; fortunately I only live about an hours drive from his shop. He took care of the scratches, and also installed some new strap locks for me on the guitar. How cool is that. Then he had Mike his set up guy check the set up for me and set it up the way I wanted. I can't say enough good things about these guys at Grosh Guitars. I highly recommend their guitars.

I think I will be playing this guitar for a long time. I do have a Tom Anderson Drop top as a back up, and it is a great guitar also, and Tom is a nice guy too. There are just so many great guitar makers and amp makers around today. Why would anyone waste their time on old vintage stuff, unrliable, noisey. I forgot to mention that the finish is lacquer. I like the chrome hardware, you don't need to worry about the gold wearing off, it seems solid.

As I mentioned above, Don Grosh stands behind his work, and goes the extra mile to make you happy. The warranty if for life to original owner, against defects etc. Can't beat that. I'm looking forward to many happy years of use.

I've been playing over 25 years, had many guitars, Fender Tele's, Strats,Gibson Les Pauls,Baker, Tom Anderson, Warrior.I would definately purchase another instrument made by Don Grosh, they are fabulous. I love the looks, as soon as you see it, man it's like art, then when you pick it up it just feels good in your hands, comfortable, not too heavy, not too light, just right, even when you strum it unplugged, you can hear it sonically sound great. Then plug that puppy into the Bogner, and it's tone heaven. I guess you could say I like it alot.
