this is the standard hagstrom acoustic 12 string (not as flashy as the BJ12 but plays even nicer). made around 73/74 in sweden with a huge body and a massive block inside it when the neck meets the shoulders. think this even improved the sound. original hagstrom tuners are getting a tad tricky to move but a bit of elbow grease and you cant go wrong. has a floating tail piece which sets the guitar off. fastest neck ive ever played.. sooo smooth

i have it set up as a 6-string, i play blues/jazz type thing and it sounds incredible. it also sounds great for folk, alternative. REALLY LOUD!!! i've taken this guitar out in busy pubs in ireland and is had no problem singing over a toneless crowd. sounds like an orchestra witht he 12 strings on it. im looking for another.. has proven hard to come across

this guitar is old and the body shows it, its had a hard time (not my own fault, it was hurt when i got it) but the play doesnt show it. it was set up again about 8 years ago ad not touched since (a bit of cleaning and adjusting but nothing else). this is one of the most comfortable, complimentory acoustic you will ever play. im not tyring to hype up this guitar, it really is just an amazing guitar. its baffleing to know that this company went out of business whej you play their guitars...
the finish on mine is in bits but ive seen pics of how they are supposed to look and they are veeeery pretty. just a simple tint over wood (not sure what type).

my hagstrom sat in a damp attic for 4 years and survived. a bit of structural work is required as a bit of sagging is occuring. feels solid as a rock though. depended on this guitar for the last 8years, think ive only ever broken 3 strings on it. the finish has held up despite the tourtur its had to endure

this is quite simply one of the best acoutics ever built. definitly in the top 5 anyway. and every time some wise-ass in a guitar shop asks me what i play and i tell him a hagstrom B120, i get a look of confusion and bewilderment. i can see "why dont you own a fender or a takamine...?" in their confused faces. because this is better.
