Tired of one guitar for this, one guitar for that? I bought this guitar because I wanted something versatile, light and comfortable, and of course huge tone.I can play it on a mellow solo jazz gig, or rock out heavy with great punch and authority. It's vibe when distorted excels at Petty, Wallflowers,Los Lobos sounds(whatever they may be). This is also a guitar great for country.

I'm a little disapointed in the set-up, it is not staying in tune as well as it should. I plan on having it set-up soon. I guess I'll see what happens. Action was fine, fretwork is great, attention to detail gets an A-.

I would run out and buy another if it were stolen. I hope I can figure out a way to keep it in tune better, I think once I get it professionally set-up I will be happy. I love this guitar for the way it feels and looks, but mostly for the way it sounds. Through a Fender Vibro-King it rocks!!!! Makes me want to playplayplay!! Highly recommended. I've owned 15-20 guitars over the last ten years and I feel very satisfied with my Hamer Newport Pro.
