It took 4 months, but I had good communication with Willcutt, who coordinated the process. (As I bought it through them initally). As I said, it was perfectly repaired. KUDOS to Hamer!

See prior submission. I can now give the guitar highest marks. I also can report that Willcutt and Hamer stand behind their product, no hassles or B.S. about the warranty.

I play a wide variety of material all in the rock end of things with a leaning towards rockabilly. This guitar is well suited, and thats why I got it. Rich, full, snappy on the bridge pup. LOVE the Bigsby! I run it through a TS-808, Maxon Delay, Demeter Trem, into a Matchless SC-30

Ah- here is the reason for my posting.
Action/setup perfect, I have not needed to change a thing since I bought her almost a year ago.
Then after a few weeks, as the "new toy" glow wore off, I notice there are areas of the body top binding that needed extensive filler putty. BTW- I bought this guitar online from a music store brand new. I was willing to over look this shoddy work, disappointing as it was. Then a bit later, the input jack started shorting out, and upon investigation, turns out a stereo jack had been used, with the extra lug just nipped off! No matter, I just replaced it w/ a mono Switchcraft. But the final straw was tonight, as I go to restring, I find that the neck binding has started to delaminate from the fretboard!

The guitar as is right now is a liability, as the binding nubs on the fret ends have pulled away.

I am a long time bar band vet, w/ 20 plus years experience. I have owned some gear in the past, including some Hamers. They were all fine. I post this not to whine, badmouth or malign- but rather to share my experience that others may take note and form there own opinion. Please understand- I like this guitar in spite of her faults. I want to get it fixed and get on w/ the buisiness of making music. I am very disappointed in the craftsmanship of this particular instrument, especially in light of the usual high level of quality I see in other Hamer guitars.
