Purchased in mid-1980's, Korean-made dreadnaught. Not a true "Harmony" from what I've read on the internet, but a Korean company named "Harmony Company Since 1892". No matter, beautiful, solid, and great sounding guitar! Beautiful matched-grain quilted spruce split-top and back. Unsure of wood used in neck and sides, but dark and solid. Rosewood fingerboard with distinctive mother of pearl inlays. Distinctive accents along sides and around sound-hole. Black pickguard. Sealed tuners that stay in tune. Great action on adjustable neck.

I've played Martin. Gibson, Taylor, and while this does not quite match with them it has a distinctive, full-bodied tone. 20 years of age have mellowed the tone perceptively. Use Elixer Nano strings. Plays nice when quietly or loudly picking, or when smashing an E chord hard! Use it for folk/alternative/alt.country songs. Everything from Michael Penn to Jules Shear to Steve Earle and John Hiatt. Even works for Elvis Costello and Patty Griffin tunes.

Purchased at Paragon Music in Tampa, and it was set up fine. No flaws. Very pretty guitar (thats what caught my eye in the first place).

Has withstood 20+ years just fine. Play it routinely (along with my Washburn A/E, Strat, and LP copy). Very little wear for all the playing its had. Very dependable - stays in tune forever!

Would be hard to replace as I've never seen another of these. For the money spent, its a great guitar! Giving it an 8 because its not a Taylor/Martin/Gibson. If anyone out there has more info on this guitar, please email me!
