This guitar does a decent job of creating rich, fat, dark tones suitable for jazz, or anywhere a fuller tone is required. It's not good at crunchy, crisp bright sounds. Still, it's tonal palate can be varied considerably with the pickup selector and tone and volume knobs. And of course, the trem circuit can add an interesting effect that varies from pyschedelic to haunting.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
I picked it up used, but in almost unplayed condition. Some light finish checking on the top. The neck is excellent with heavy flatwounds on it. The trem circuit had the original battery in it, and needed some repair and a recap, but it works just fine now.

Reliability/Durability : 8
It's almost 40 years old and it still works great, so I guess it'll hold up O.K. >8^) All in all, it's built pretty solid.

Harmony is long gone now. Sad, really.

Overall Rating : 8
This is a really fun guitar to own, and usefull, too. It looks funky, sounds good, and can make funny noises with the trem circuit. See pictures at:
