Made by Scott Heatley in Campbell River, B.C. Canada. www.heatleyguitars.com. Semi hollow body, All old growth 1/4 sawn wood. Maple top [hand carved].Solid Mahogany back and neck. Brazilian Rosewood finger bord. All Scott`s guitars are custom ordered.I specified above woods,6150 frets ,2 Wolfetone P90`s. Simple 3 way switch w/ volume and tone control as I requested. Real old school nitro finish,no hardeners etc. added. Custom neck carve is standard. Mahogany center block.MOP dot inlays. I specked everything so obviously it`s just perfect for me.

I play Blues, Jazz, and Rock. Prefer older Tweeds and Marshalls no pedals. Dead quiet for P90`s. Huge fat, thick tone, easily the best sounding guitar I`ve ever played. Controls work beautifully so any desired tone is achieved. Heatley`s are far above any production guitar available at any price. Tone is what it`s all about. After playing a Heatley you are spoiled and no production guitar can touch the amazing sound of a Heatley.

Well.. there is no factory. Just one man. In a word "perfect". The attention to detail frets, joints is second to none. It was set up to my playing style. It is a privilege to play an instrument built with pride and skill by a gifted artisan. This is as good as it gets.

Scott works w/ each customer personally. Warranty? Depends how long Scott lives. He stands behind his guitars 100%. He finishes aprox. 10-12 guitars each year.1-2 year wait time. There is a great deal of pride on Scott`s part. He is more than willing to make small adjustments etc. No fear here.

Been playing 46 years. Have owned many Gibson CS and Fender Master build. Heatley`s are far superior. Currently have 2 Heatley`s sold the CS stuff. The tone and playability is unmatched. I do wish I owned a Heatley many many years earlier. Mr. Heatley elevates the guitar playing experience to another level.
