Features : No Opinion
It was made for me in 96 I believe. I ordered it from Jay Wolfe in Florida. Standard lp layout, except with a slimmer 60 lp neck and SD 59 pickups. Amber maple top with a real nice quilt to it, the mahogany was one piece done in heritage cherry with no pick guard.

Sound : 9
It handles the 70's classic rock stuff with ease. And sounds nice thru a number of my assorted amps besides the lp/ marshall marriage. I don know maybe like me its starting to mellow. I was heading out the door to do a small jazz gig . I thought that i was grabbing my old jazz standby combo a Ibanez AM205 with my Ampeg jet amp but instead in my haste i mistakenly grabbed my heritage . I get to the venue and immediately call my girlfriend to have her double back to pick up my Ibanez. i plugged the Heritage in thinking that I might have to play a few songs with it before she got there. IT SOUNDED SWEET! I stayed with the H-150 all night .I cant remember it being more than a one trick pony when I first got it. Now it sounds so warm. Just must be aging. (Well at least some things get better anyway!)

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Came perfect right out of the box.

Reliability/Durability : 9
Gotta be careful of certain guitar stands that mess with the H-150's thin nitro finish but other than that its built like a tank.

Never talked with nicer people. Jay Wolfe the dealer called me to give me an update on my custom order but admitted that he may have got the color screwed up and he thought that it was too late in the build process to change it. After Gibson screwed up two of my previous custom orders wasting ALOT of my money and over two years of my time I was praying that it wasn't going to happen a 3rd time. I called the company direct figuring that I'd just get an answering machine but to my amazement a human picked up the phone and introduced himself as Marv one of the owners. I was stunned. After explaining the situation he said that the paint guy himself would call me back asap. 29 minutes later the paint guy calls me back saying that he couldn't believe my timing-MINE-was the very next one to go in. SAVED!

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing well over 20 years and I've had and still have a lot of guitars. Prices have gone up on guitars so much over the last couple of years that the average guy cant afford to buy the $ 6000.00 custom guitar that his idle plays. Thank God for companies like Heritage who don't penalize me because Im a lefty and still think everyone deserves a great product at reasonable prices even if there not a superstar.
