Classic Rock, blues and country and everything else..fingerpicking folk music when I feel like it...Using a Fender RI bassman with a hoffman conversion kit installed or a custom '69 bandmaster with 2-10" celestion Vintage 10's.
Sounds are almost limitless with the splitter/phase switches...of course the classic LP sound, but way more available with amp settings and pickup configuration on the guitar...covers everything from the Knopler sound on sultans of swing to telecaster repo for country to LP for classic rock sounds....and really everything in between, with amp tweaking and a delay and a distortion, I use a original marshall blues breaker pedal. It cover the whole spectrum...nothing to complain about...

This guitar is a sure fire died in the wool winner-hands down...I have been playing over 40 years and this one is a great guitar...not a Gibson on the planet that I would hesitate to compare it with, bar none....it will take whatever you want to give it. Needs no backup, this baby will last a few lifetimes..high quality construction.

Called the company, then emailed...recieved the info I asked for, and my questions and then some were answered....The email worked better than the phone...the person on the other end must have been an owner, as he was always on line and answered my mails asap-even late nite..very impressive.

I have been around along time, had all kinds of guitars, amps etc etc...had the addiction BAD for a long time, now its more managable..now its about TONE and connection to the instrument..both in guitars and amps-and quality..and this guitar has all of that in spades...it is as close to perfect as you can get...the only Gibson that I can compare it to is a 25/50 Les Paul that I had...even then I will give the edge to the Heritage.,,I also have several Fenders which you really can;t use as a comparison, as its like apples and oranges...but the Heritage with its VIP system can do a respectable imitation...I would buy one EXACTLY like this one if the need ever arose....it simply is a great guitar...anyone who plays knows what I mean. You know one when you see one....now, if I can just keep this feeling that keeps sneaking up on me--you know,,,,maybe I should get annother Heritage,,,,or two.....or three......I thought I was over this, but when you get your hands on something this good, you just can;t let go....makes you want to play more than ever, rekindles the spark,,,,,this guitar will make you smile....

Sound is great via my Fender Blues Junior. Nice sustain, great harmonics, classic distorion sound when the gain is cranked on the amp. I have been using hybrid strings - like .10s for the low strings and like .09s for the high strings. Nice compromise.

Factory settings were a little high, but no fret buzzing. I thought the pickups were set a little high, too. Nothing wrong with that, I just like them lower. Beutiful top, matched nicely. Binding was great, no dents, scratches, inlay was excellent.
The only thing I noticed was that the stain had some minor bleeding into the binding - barely noticable. Also, the inlay on the highest fret was cracked in the corner slightly. Not noticable either. Other than that, this thing is beautiful and better than the Gibson's I have seen recently.

It's new, so I'm not sure. It should be great from what I have seen so far.

Bought if from Wolfe guitars and they were very helpful. I have not needed to call the factory.

I am so glad I bought this guitar. Most people are only aware of guitars they sell in Guitar Center or see in magazines. You won't see a Heritage in those places or many other places for that matter. I looked at Les Pauls and this is better and cheaper. The sound is incredible and it is made by real "old school" ex-Gibson employees.
I wanted a special guitar with all the extras - I'm not disapointed and I don't feel ripped off at all. That is unusual these days.
